so so helpful!!! Thank you soooo much
You're so welcome!
Great job, thank you!
Glad it was helpful - thanks.
Good review. I too was disappointed with Catalyst Browse. I had higher hopes for the ZV1's stabilization. Using a gimbal IMO is overkill for what is supposed to be a smaller form factor. I'd rather just use my phone camera with has better stabilization though perhaps slightly lower picture quality.
Very useful video thank you 👍
Happy to help and thanks for watching.
I really wish there were interchangeable lens options, because that wide angle lens is just not that great, and really bends your images and videos through it. Good review though, thank you!
Well done
Thanks, glad you liked it.
I bought a Hohem MT-2 gimbal and hated it for vlogging. I got heavy and it really stands out even though it's considered to be light.😮😮
I used a Zhiyun Crane M2 (amzn.to/3yZqP1z), which I believe is one of the smallest/lightest, but compared to just the camera, even that one seems very big and bulky.
Thank you so muchhhhh
You're welcome!
Don't take this the wrong way: The worst edited videos are often the best review videos because all the attention goes to testing the product rather than making it look like a sales pitch👌. All our videos of the past year use the ZV-1, and somehow despite holding it steady, every video has awful shaking, even just a little bit. Turning stabilization all the way crops too much of the subject's head as they have short arms. They are considering just biting the bullet and paying extra for an iPhone, as a camera.
Thank you....I think!
Hi, thanks for this video. Did you also have steadyshoot activated on the M2 or no further stabilization at all?
👍👍👍
Great! Thank You! Hello from Ukraine!
Thank you too!
Hello from Vorarlberg 🇦🇹
I can't seem to get stabilisation to activate I'm not sure what setting I have set wrong. Please could you help me in some kind of way because Sony isn't helping me😢
From a movie shooting mode, hit the “Fn” button and look for the shaking hand icon (Steadyshot). You can set it to “active”, “standard” or “off”. Active is the strongest, but also crops in the most on the image.
@@gwebster65 turns out that stupid product showing setting was on so stabilization wouldn't function
Can you use a gimbal with a long zoom lens?
Yes, for sure. Sony (and others) makes similar compacts with much longer zooms, that would work with this gimbal. If you wanted to use something bigger, you would probably need a bigger (and more expensive) gimbal.
What gimbal is that?
