Glad to see some one bigger that does these. Still less weight then me but nice to see so people can make an informed buying decision. If I had to choose between the two I would probably pick the Nectar for the side sleeping comfort.

I’m not crazy about the shoulder and hip pressure reported on the helix. That being said I would probably opt for the Nectar. Thanks for the review!

Helix mattress over Nector for me. The slepp Quiz by Helix helps you narrow down one of the many options Helix has, with the help of Mattress Clarity of course! 😊

Helix all the way. I find all memory foam mattresees do not provide enough support for my bad back.

I would go for the hybrid of Helix and most likely Luxe!

Thanks Martin! I don’t understand why the Nectar is more expensive than the Helix Midnight? The helix Midnight is a hybrid and I feel it would support me better and be more durable in the long run. However, the Nectar is softer, so ... __ vs - ? Hmmm ... I think I would choose the Helix.

I would go with Nectar since I am a strict lightweight side sleeper. I would like to hear about the Helix luxe

Like the Helix foundation for the coils and the Nectar comfort layer for the classic memory foam. I would go with Helix and get a Tempur topper if needed. Thanks Martin.😃

Nectar looks better for smaller sidesleeper like me. But what I'd really like to know is your take on the Helix midnight luxe.

They are both good beds but i like that classic memory foam feel so i would go with the Nectar. As strict side sleeper i need something softer for great pressure relief. The Helix Sunset Luxe would be my choice from all the Helix beds

Far more interest in the Helix mattress as a hybrid over the Nester. I too am taller and heavier and require more durable materials for longevity and support. As a combination back and side sleepers, I also prefer as much airflow or cooler topper materials for temp regulation. Thanks for the comparison

I would almost definitely go for a helix. On top of the sleep quiz they have so many options (And hubby and I have agreed neither of us will never get an all foam mattress again due to 2 bad experiences with them) Hubby wants a "bouncy" mattress. Helix seems more durable than nectar which is another thing we are looking for in our new mattress
. I do like the freebies(specially the mattress protector) that come with the Nectar but not enough to get an all foam mattress ;)

  • @sabrinacross7292

I currently have the Nectar, and I feel like it's too firm for me (side sleeper, 5'6", 155lbs). Do you think the Sunset would be a good next mattress to try?

Giveaway: Interesting how the Helix did better than the Nectar on the pressure map test in the side position, but you said the Nectar felt like it had better pressure relief than the Helix. Thx for the review Marten!

  • @1980maranda

I would have to go with the Helix. The quiz helps you decide which mattress would be best suited for you and it comes in hybrid for better support and cooling.

Before watching the video, I thought I would prefer Helix over Nectar because of the support, durability and airflow of the hybrid design. And after watching the video and seeing the pressure mapping results... I definitely choose Helix.
