Louis makes a catastrophic mistake with his first client as name partner.

Louis is basically the Vegeta of the series; it's fun to watch him on top, but it's SO satisfying to watch him crumble and fail

It’s really hard to feel bad for Louis, because while sure his quest for acceptance and appreciation makes him the most human and relatable character, he’s also just a conniving weasel who will go scorched earth the second he doesn’t get his way (at least in the earlier half of the series).
Anyone who relates to Louis should be evaluated, lol.

Why is it that some people never understand that respect can't be demanded?
Anyone who says “respect your elders” or demands it immediately loses my respect and I’ll treat them as such
Except Harvey and Jessica never gave respect even when he earned it.
Sometimes, they are up against invisible, unfair and unexplainable rules of human behavior. So they feel like even when they follow all the rules they don't get what other people get.

Louis takes everything personally.. Gerard wanted to meet Harvey bcos he can bends the rules.. but Louis thinks himself as incapable.

As far as I'm concerned Louis never deserved respect... He was always a weasel. He recorded Harvey when Mike's trial was going on.... He went after Harvey's salary.... The problem is Louis always rides on a tiger.. And forgets that the tiger can consume him.

*That's a plothole isn't it?* Professor Gerrard walking into a firm that hires Harvard Lawyers exclusively - therefore most of the employees would've undertook his ethics classes back in Law School (Barring Jessica and other older Senior Partners) yet no one comes up to greet him as he walks around the law firm.
To be fair everyone constantly said he was a self-righteous hardass and his class was a pain so I doubt people would want to talk to him
@@ArgentPendragon so? The man's taught thousands of students, if Louis Litt admires him, theres definitely others who do too. It's just bad writing. Harvey undertook his classes over a decade ago and still converses with him like he was only his student 'just yesterday'. I can't see why a crop of associates wouldn't do the same.
as you can tell this show is riddled with inconsistencies and mistakes
Jude Jellingham yes in real life, multiple associates would probably approach gerrard in the office but entertain tv shows have to streamline things to make it watchable. Are you really telling me you would want to watch 20ish associates swarm Gerrard when he got off the elevator and start brownnosing? That does not sound like very enjoyable tv. Choosing to have one attorney (lewis) do that gets the point across that he is a respected man, and it keeps the show watchable and the plot moving.
Louis had every right to be upset, but he handled finding out Mike was a fraud the wrong way. You can’t demand respect and treat others disrespectfully at the same time

I relate a lot with Louis with the Dinner thing which is why I made such an awful job when I was working in sales. I didn't care about connecting with my customers over dinner or somethings, to me it was just business.

louis is far and away the best character on this show.
Don't you hate in season six episode 1, to trouble, Mike is gone to prison, and the rest of them are back at the firm. I hate how fast Jessica jumps down Louis's throat. She says Louis this firm has being gutted because of your recommendations. It was not Louis, it was Harvey, but twice Jessica is so fast to blame Louis, even Harvey comes to his defense. It was Harvey who wanted to make the deal with Evan Smith, to try and save Mike not Louis.
This isn’t Louis earning respect. This is louis being his usual POS self.
