Samantha Womack is such an incredible actress and deserves a lot more recognition. Since her departure, Eastenders has gone down hill - it's gone that bad I've actually stopped watching it. Can't wait for her return next week - she's the reason I'll be watching again.

She truly did deserve punishment for the amount of time she kept someone else's baby. Of course we can all understand her grief and temporary insanity when she initially took Tommy, almost convincing herself that he was her own baby but it's the length of time that she kidnapped him for that made me lose sympathy for her character. She kept Tommy for four months. It wasn't a few hours or a couple of days while she tried to process what had actually happened to James. Four months is long enough for her to make the right decision and give Tommy back. She was such a troubled woman and Eastenders turned her into a complete psychopath in the end.
