- Hey friends! Follow along as the Famous Aunt Penny comes to visit and see our home all decorated for summer. Summer is one of my favorite seasons to decorate for, as I am a proud American! I love paying tribute to our brave military who secured our freedom by using flags, vintage military photos, etc. I am truly so blessed to be an American, and I love my country! I hope you enjoy and get some inspiration for your own home. As always, be blessed and happy junkin!

Love the Cabinet! And Decor! I’ve been Decorating for Summer. Flags & all! My Son went over to Iraq on Front Line! Fighting he said Mom I Shot and all we could do is hide behind anything and Run and My Dad served in the Army! He told me Mom Grandpa I Swore he had to be with me and picked me up because he said I don’t think I could ever run that fast! Mom he was with me so was God! He’s a Medic had to endure all his friends a lot Killed died in his Arms and they teach them to tell the fellows Ladies if thier dying that thier going to be ok?? He said that was one of the hardest things to deal with and the next was they have Children at very young ages carried guns & grenades & they r taught u trust NOONE or you are Guaranteed to get Killed! So Sad! Such a Terrible Horrible thing they go thru now my Son has the lungs of an 89 year Old Man and he’s 39 and has a Bad Mental problems because of all the War! Breaks my ❤
Praying for your precious son❤ his sacrifice is one of the reasons we are free, and we’re so grateful to him for his service❤

I wished people wouldn't make ugly comments because everybody has their 'likes" and if anyone thinks its to much or what ever, don't watch, click off and don't leave ugly comments. I don't decorate with alot but i do buy what I love and especially if it has a story. I love vintage to and I love when yall point out every piece and how yall decorate, just love it all. Yall make it fun to sit and just look at every piece.

As for your rosaries, they are beautiful and I believe if you research it, the Catholic church is fine with them being used as display as long as they are done so with respect and dignity. I just love your house and your beautiful collections of fun vintage items. I, too, am a maximalist. We showed our house that is for sale recently to a young couple and the wife commented that I had sh** all over the place. My vignettes are neatly done and appropriate for the rooms in which they are displayed, but I learned that not everyone has an appreciation for vintage maximalist decor. Ha ha! You have a real knack for arranging your treasures and Aunt Penny is a darn good camera lady and commentator. I really enjoy you both and I proudly wear the cute t-shirt that I purchased from your Etsy store. This was a great video.

Oh Kayla, no negative comments from me ever! I think you can love and respect and even venerate any religious item regardless of your faith because of what it represents. I’m Greek Orthodox but my Italian mom was a practicing Catholic before she converted and we still have her beloved rosaries and Mother Mary icons. People always have some thing negative to say about just about everything. Your heart is always in the right space and your decorating skills are top notch. Lovely vintage collections including that little Bloated jar!😂 I got a bloated belly laugh from that one! Kayla, I am a Catholic and have many rosaries gracing special places in my home. Hanging from a photo or laying on my bible or draped over some pretty china.
