DIY Portable Bait Tank / Livewell - How to Build from a Cooler

May 27, 2023: Turn an old cooler into a functional live bait tank / livewell using minimal parts and tools.
In this video I will show you step by step how I turned an older cooler into a portable bait tank for keeping bluegills and other fish alive while fishing. This tank can be used while bank fishing, on a boat, or anywhere you need it. It will also function as a livewell for keeping smaller fish alive during tournaments.

Awesome i build one with old livewell built and wired to a timer and relay to maximize battery life. I use mine for livewell for crappie and eater cats
