Hysol is like lipstick either you put on to much and have to wipe it off or not enough and you don't look pretty, the old dude that told me that is dead but he also told me to buy plenty and practice, practice and practice. Your build is looking great, now tell us why the highlander, I'm finding that the hardest thing is choosing the best one to build ( Tandem seating, engine, wing configuration, radios). I'm following your build keep up the great work.
Keith, thanks for advise on the Hysol. I chose a highlander for three reasons, 1. I love Steve Henrys Highlander, 2. The Yamaha Epex 300TI, and 3. kit price and timing of availability.
Great vids. I would like to build a highlander too. I’m in the uk and have a garage of similar dimensions to yours possibly shorter but wider but not much. How are you planning to rig the wings or do you have a larger space. Cheers.
Nice to see some of the details you show. Have you considered putting up a time lapse camera to capture some of the things you might consider mundane, but others find valuable?? Even seeing how you mix up and apply the Hysol-( which I had to look up) would be educational for some of us.

Great video! I am just a few weeks behind you on my Highlander build and was wondering about the push/pull tube bend. Thanks for the help. Steve

Don't like that bendy push pull rod design, looks very crude and hokey. There's got to be a better way of cleaning that up.
