Great cover!!! 'Till this day I still love Steps! :) Especially their Step One cd. I always have thought that the 2 guys were really cute, especially the brown-haired one. And the women are still gorgeous!!! Gah, I just love ABBA!! I'm so happy that Steps did a remix!
Actually it was Clare who announced an hour before there Manchester concert she had resigned. When she handed them letter telling other band members she was leaving and steps was over, H handed them a letter too saying same thing.
They really should do an ABBA covers album, maybe even ask Benny & Bjorn to write a new track or 2 for them, I know Benny & Bjorn wrote a new verse to Another You Another Me for H & Claire
I had watched the studio making of this video and I have to be honest, they really should have stuck with Claire for opening lead vocals, her voice is so rich and sharp! Now, with said, the chorus is done very well. I believe the producer fella had wanted to please them all and understandably the members all want their significant part of the song, that's human nature, though some voices just made for being a bit more front and center ... not to belittle anyone's talents, I love Lisa's and Faye's voices (they are amazing on Story of a Heart!) and they also have awesome personalities with how they express and communicate themselves, lovely ladies!
But still like, he has a good voice - if you watch his version of moves like jagger, you will notice that. Back then, i agree it wasn't all that good but ya kno. and yes i agree they look so different ;D
