2020 Vibe Chamber Productions® - Zábava
I like his method of producing. He allows the artist to listen to records so he can get the inner self and spirit of the artist first then build around that.
This man was responsible for not only public enemy sound but also nwa sound dre n yella used to sample his beats for nwa n early death row.
....And Marley Marl is the father of current sampling techniques still used til this day
Dre has also literally admitted the bomb squad and marley marl were major influences
He was one of them but not the only one. Chuck, Eric Sadler, and Keith Shocklee were in the Bomb Squad too.
Cube himself has said many times Hank didn't produce anything on Amerikkka's, even he (Cube) didn't want his name (Hank Shocklee's) to appear on the credits. Cube always gave credit to Eric "Vietnam" Sadler and Chuck D for the music and production on the album.
Hmmmmm? So maybe that's why on Cube's follow up EP, Kill At Will, when he's giving shootouts on the final track "I Gotta Say Whats up", when he shoutsout The Bomb Squad, you hear Jinx only echoing Eric Sandlers name.....That could of been an undercover diss to Hank.......but maybe I'm reachin'
*Fun Fact: Cube said he was gonna name the EP "Blacks Kill At Will", but it was shortened to Kill At Will.....It was also one of my favorite album covers too.
That's how it's put in the official PE book.
ERIC B & RAKIM, PUBLIC ENEMY= LONG ISLAND RAISED THE BAR!! SALUTE, RESPECT AND PEACE
maybe the best to do it?
