    i am still having issues between the current and classic view when creating the business process flow inside PowerApps. I wanted to get a better clarification about that. Because i have admin right and everything but the powerapps form and other processes have classic views and it works and updates. I played around creating some entities inside powerapps was able to have the form layout as a standard non-classic view and do the drag and drop. so it caught me off guard on what is the proper way to do this business process flow. i did exact steps from these videos but i had issues with the email notification process kept giving me duplicates when it goes to the next stage. I hope this makes sense if not please feel free to let me know. overall love your tutorials and hope to see more and more BPF which are a highly needed and i hear people always talking about this and should be more tutorials on this stuff.

    How can I attach a file to a CDS record? I had already check the box "Enable attachments" but I can't see where I can add the attachment control in PowerApps or Entities

    Is it possible to generate an successive individual ID for each employee based on their department? For example a new employee joins the finance department (select finance by the drop down list for department) and an ID is generated for the employee in the following format: FIN009.

    Hey guys, does anyone know in particular what is the difference between team flows and business process flow? I want to create a day request flow, in which you create an item in sharepoint then it sends notifications to managers and other ppl, I've created it using team flows which was quite easy, then i discovered business process flows and now im really confused. Any help would be appreciated

      If you already created a flow that works for you, then no need to go and change it up! Business process flows are great but you shouldn’t force them into every situation - although, if you see some improvements you could make then you can always try and build a BPF version!

    Where does all of the data live that gets entered into these fields? As employees' information gets entered during on boarding, I imagine we start accumulating a bunch of data. How do we access it?

    • @JonJLevesque
      @JonJLevesque  Před 5 lety +2

      Hey Carl! All that data gets stored inside of CDS - The Common Data Service (for Apps not Analytics)

    There is a microsoft feature called "Business Process Flows" and this 15m video has nothing to do with it.

      @JonJLevesque  Před 5 lety +3

      How does this have nothing to do with it? It’s absolutely required knowledge to utilize BPF
