I just bought one and tried it out today. I can't get it to cut the half inch copper but cuts the 3/4 inch easy. I don't know if there is a problem with it or not. Have you heard anything about this?

Seems like I’d be spending allot more time reaming to straighten out the bad cuts which would result in wrong lengths. I’d stick to my regular tubing cutter

I still prefer my Milwaukee copper cutters.

Is there a cordless tool that cuts galv pipe?

Milwaukee had this all figured out years and years ago and you don't have to tie up a 1/4" impact as they are 'stand alone' tools.

Seems like a lot of work just cut - I’ll stick with the traditional methods.

the belt clip that comes with the impact drill doesnt fit onto the attachment that comes with the cutter. so you have to choose between the attachment that comes with the cutter or the belt clip. very inconvenient design if you want to attach the belt clip onto the attachment, the holes/screws don't line up.

    M12 is the winner

Also I can't believe you have to swap cutters for different pipe sizes. So stupid. Absolutely useless tools from dewalt

Bad design idea. The pipe cutters should be stand alone stuff not stupid attachments

@@stevenhurrell9026 Not sure where the comedy is in the comment but ok. I have the Milwaukee one it works well, but I like the fact that the tool can be used for something else than just cutting pipe. less tools to carry around and Plumbers arent the only ones using this tool or can have an opinion on it btw....

@@KennethCherisol that's fine if you not a plumber then you might find this useful but for plumbers it's absolutely useless. The main reasons are 1. The blades can't be replaced. 2 you have to mess about changing the blades for every pipe size. Very annoying when fitting a boiler which has 3 different sizes of pipes 3. You need your driver when you work and this makes it impossible to use your driver unless you remove it or buy another one. 4. It's massive and you cant use it in any place which is tight like under sinks etc. I love DeWalt I have tones of their tools but this tool attachment, for most people who would buy it, is garbage. But if you don't have any M12 Milwaukee and you just want it for a few DIY pipes it might work but then so does a manual cutter.
