Join us as we walk along the historic Canal du Midi between Toulouse to Carcassonne, France over 8 days in May and June 2023. The Canal du Midi catalyzed France's Industrial Revolution in the 18th and 19th Centuries, and is now a scenic walk along a river teaming with life, adventure, elegant canal boats, excellent waterside restaurants, and memories waiting to be made. Our Camino started in Toulouse and we visited the charming towns and small cities of Ramonville, Baziége, Villefranche de Lauragais, Avignonet-Lauragais, Castelnaudary, Bram, Caux-et-Sauzens, and ended in Carcassonne. Canal boats float by, using the many locks to traverse up and down the Canal du Midi.
