  • With the "Bring it Home" parade with Adam Sandoval coming up, I thought this would be a good time to remind people of this feature. Not all bikes have it, so check your owners manual for more info. Disclaimer: I am not a motorcycle tech.

    Brian, thank you! A buddy told me if I get hung up in traffic “stop n go” to roll my (16 Road King) throttle forward and it will prevent from over heating, who knew there was a name for it, “Parade Mode” I love it!
    My buddy didn’t know he had it either on his 09 Ultra and I showed him “your video “ & now he is all happy! Keep ‘em on 2 & on the road. Cheers!

    Well I try it on my 2015 Road King and those lights came on.. i thought this was just for the 2017 Milwaukee 8 engines. But I think the M8's do it everytime you stop, like at red light. And this function is if you're stuck in traffic for a long period of time. Kudos dude you just taught thousands of guys a new trick and probably save a lot of engines. 😎🤘🍺

      I have the 2017 Road King Special and the EITMS works the same. You can turn it on or off using same procedure. You can turn it on and off while stopped at a light as well. Just roll and hold the throttle forward until cruise light turns green "on" or orange/red "off".

    I think I’ve engaged it accidentally a few times on my 2009 street glide I’ve had about 6 months. Like the other day, I turned at a stop light and got on the throttle and let off fast to stop and it sounded like my bike had a Jake break like a semi truck. It happens randomly. Sounds bad ass when it happens. I’ve been searching this morning for info about it. Didn’t get an owners manual with my used bike

My dyna didn't come with one either so I got one from there, printed it off and put it in a binder in the garage just in case.

      @@LifeontheBlacktop thanks. So do you think that’s what it is ? I’m accidentally engaging the parade mode ? It sounds bad ass when it happens. Almost like what a Harley should sound like . I’ve had a 1997 softail springer about 15 years and it’s always sounded good dropping gears as i slow down. This street glide and fuel injection sure sounds different and has taken some getting used to. Feels like a lazy boy recliner compared to my softail that I took for a spin the other day. And put back in the shed immediately.

    • @LifeontheBlacktop
      @LifeontheBlacktop  Před 3 lety +1
