Ferrari responded to their loss at Le Mans by winning the next race after that in which both appeared in, the 24 Hours of Daytona the following year, being Ford's home territory. They finished the race by claiming all three podium spots. Toward the end, at the request of management, the three leaders grouped and cross the finish line together in the same fashion as the Fords at Le Mans. The following year, without Ford and Ferrari as contenders due to rule changes, Porsche repeated the same parade celebrations when they won at Daytona. It is now uncommon for teams to order drivers to hold celebration laps at the closing hour of an endurance race.

Hello, how are you?
I want to tell you: THERE IS A GOD WHO LOVES YOU, AND HE WANTS TO SAVE YOU.
The greatest proof of His love for you was on the cross.
There is only one GOD, only one GOD, there are no others, and GOD is Love, he is merciful, but he is also a GOD of judgment and justice.
This GOD has Laws, and we cannot keep them properly, we fail, we sin when we disobey His Laws. Think with me, when someone commits a crime, he breaks a certain Law, is he innocent or guilty? We understand that if he has committed a crime, broken or disobeyed a law, he is not innocent, but guilty. Does a guilty deserve to be convicted or acquitted? We understand that if he committed a crime he deserves to be convicted. Such is the state of the human being before God. guilty. The Bible says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23). We have sinned against GOD, we are not innocent but guilty, and our sins condemn us and condemn us to hell.
But I want to tell you that there is hope for us, there is forgiveness for our sins, because, even though we are flawed and sinners, God loved us so much that in the fullness of time he sent his SON, JESUS CHRIST to this earth. JESUS is the one who was born under the law of GOD. JESUS fulfilled all the law of God, being thus perfect, in Jesus there was no sin nor deceit in his mouth.
For when the LORD JESUS was here, HE did good to all, and healed all who were oppressed by the devil, JESUS was not a person who trampled on those who were fallen, on the contrary, HE stretched out His hands to the fallen, JESUS came to to save sinners, to seek and to save that which was lost, he performed miracles, signs and wonders among the people, the blind saw, the deaf heard, the dumb spoke, the lame walked and the dead were raised, for God was with HE.
Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. And then according to God's plan, Jesus being innocent, was rejected, was wronged and was condemned to death, and death on a cross. In this fact, GOD proves his love for us, in that CHRIST died nailed to a cross on our behalf, HE died for our sins, HE was our substitute suffering the condemnation that we deserve.
Then HE was buried and after three days, GOD raised Jesus from the dead, breaking the shackles of death, because it was impossible for death to stop him.
After Jesus was resurrected, He gave commandments to His disciples, and the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven and sat at the right hand of God.
JESUS CHRIST is the Judge who will judge the living and the dead, what GOD is announcing to all people is repentance. Repent of your sins, forsake your sins, and turn to GOD, believe in his SON JESUS CHRIST, so that your sins may be forgiven, only JESUS can save the souls of men, JESUS CHRIST is the only way, Put all your faith, your trust and your hope in Jesus and begin to obey him.

Remember: Ken BUILT them with Ford so #1 would be fine tuned just for him
Enzo’s “Bellisimo” can be interpreted in various ways.
1. He called the ford factories ugly so he can’t believe they built a car that beat them.
2. The car itself beautiful
3. Ken Miles driving that day was “bellísimo” and he can’t help to be in awe at that monster in the hands of Ken.
*Bellissimo
It’s 3
I figured 3 cause the car was running hot (down on power) and worn brakes. Yet he beat his previous best record in HIS fine tuned gt40
Also the fact that Enzo was shocked Ken was able to push through to get to that perfect lap without Ford’s car getting destroyed or damaged
4. He was referring to the lap. The lap was beautiful (perfect as Ken Miles would say)... At his core Enzo Ferrari was a racer chasing perfection, just like Ken Miles.

In the beginning of the movie, Iacocca mentions that Ferrari has gone almost bankrupt trying to chase perfection. That line has more meaning when Ken Miles achieves the “perfect lap”. Enzo then salutes him, knowing Ken has achieved something greater than 1st place at LeMans, which eluded him.

Stand Down for a second and lemme whisper something in your ears. R/woosh
Ironically his initials are KM already...

The music that's playing at 1:45 as you see the tachometer at 7000 RPMs and then Ken's face makes me tear up man...

Im italian and a huge ferrari fan, i don't think that ferrari come up as "the bad guys" in this movie, even if i was scared about it knowing how Hollywood works, as Enzo did after the race only a blind idiot wouldn't have taken his hat off in front of racers as Miles.
Its beautiful that Shelby's first pitch to Miles was a chance to for Ford to beat Ferrari, not necessarily the win a Le Mans, hence the quote "you promised me the drive, not the win." But at 2:09, THATS victory. Not in the books of Le Mans but of the in the eyes of the people who really mattered.
I like how bright and colorful this movie is in a time when so many movies have dim lighting and muted colors.
as someone who races personally i just saw that he pushed the car past its breaking point and found new limits iv never seen, hes pulled off an incredible feat on pull the perfect lap, he really inspires me to go as fast as i can can push to new limits.
1:59 is just a beautiful shot. I’m not a car person and this movie is an all time favorite. That shot gives me chills every time cause not only does it look amazing: the catching up with the at the moment fastest car in the world therefore make us realize how fast that looks by going from what is basically a birds eye view shot down to driver level. But also the lack of sound at that particular part outside of music as it’s all muffled, giving the view a feeling like they are holding their breath for something. And that something was the now infamous “perfect lap”.
Shelby was beast
Matthew Dowdell Yup, wonderful CGI
it's beautiful indeed but its CG
worst thing is that from a technical standpoint that lap was garbage

Ken Miles, perfectly played by Christian Bale, his son so wonderfully portrayed, and his wife, such a wonderful mixture of femininity and strength. All players knocked it out of the ball park. Amazing movie! and I'm a Chevy guy!
Well you can smile about how hollywood lied there asses off about this story. I doubt Chevy would let hollyweird get away with lying about something great they achieved. And I'm a Ford guy.

In order for the film to be entertaining, there will inevitably be exaggerations, hyperboles, re-imaginings, subjective interpretations, etc. in order to evoke the desired emotional response in the viewer, and to create something that can be understood and enjoyed by as wide of a variety of people as possible, not just the die-hard fans of the given story/genre. group B: hello there
I love how his fastest lap is on an out lap and not a flying one
The funny part is all the shifting makes sense until you realize the GT40 had these tall as hell gears, only four speeds for a 200+ MPH car, you'd never spend those corners shifting like a short geared town car. He'd damn near be shifting down to first for the tight corners and leaving it there, using the throttle to control speed. That first gear would get you past 60MPH on that car, meanwhile a Jetta is overevving at 20MPH at the same gear. Gearing matters way more in town than on the track.
Its funny how in a 3 minutes video I can get the chills 10 times
1:59 damn that shot, great editing man🔥🔥
They should make more films like this and rush. Imagine a film about Jim Clark or Ayrton Senna

I had tears in my eyes when I saw the accident scene and death of Ken Miles. It made me so emotional that I searched about Ken and Shelby’s friendship everywhere, and Shelby said not a single day passes when he doesn’t think about Ken, and he gets emotional while saying this.
This is true friendship and true love for cars.
This scene legit made me cry when I saw it in IMAX with like 5 other dudes. Most of us were car guys and I had goosebumps every time the engines revved
I wish there were more movies about motorsport like this.
I liked Senna and Closer to the Edge.
I love how he eases into the accelerator when he’s half way down the straight. “The perfect lap”... lol
And setting the “perfect lap” after stopping for a pit stop and having cold tires.
Sacrifices you have to make when making a movie for the sake of passing
Was just corner exit. He would have had to lift for the porsche curves (or whatever was in its place at the time). I'm not 100% on the configuration of that era but there was certainly still a kink after Arnage before the start/finish.
The Domikonis it shows him sitting at 7000rpm for a few seconds. Then it shows him going dead ahead with a few small wheel corrections. Then it shows him ease into the power. That’s no corner exit I’ve ever heard of.
Movies like these are so inaccurate. They always make them shifting when they’re already going top speed.
Omg I have literally watched this tones of times but still gives chills
There is perfect spot on the tach right on the edge of the black and red where the machine and driver become one. Never been there with a car but been there with motorcycles. That montage of the the tach, the car, the driver and the pedals was just perfect.
Yes. It is probably the best movie lap because it took me back to the perfect moment on my motorcycle.
There really isn't. If you look at a graph of either horsepower or torque, you see that an internal combustion engine absolutely does NOT produce its peak of either at redline. In fact, both horsepower and torque have gone DOWN at redline from peak performance. If a racer is trying to coax as much performance out of an engine, they would shift at the point where the horsepower/torque would be greater at the next gear rather than sit on a lower gear that is actually offering less performance. Plus, you know, flying an engine apart by overrevving it isn't going to win any races. At 7,000 RPM the big ol' heavy parts of that V8 would be ready to fly apart.
Bikes can enter the red, comeback and ride on. Old pushrod v8s, not so much. They grenade just past redline
Massive respect to the makers of this movie for not making the scenes look dramatic as in other racing movies.
This is literally my first movie that i watch at my Disney+ and i personally doesn't know much about cars but the movie is amazing
cars are used everyday by millions of people to drive from A to B. They generally have 4 wheels and doors to allow passengers to get in and out. If you google CARS you should get more information.
