About Gospel Simplicity:
Gospel Simplicity began as a CZcams channel in a Moody Bible Institute dorm. It was born out of the central conviction that the gospel is really good news, and I wanted to share that with as many people as possible. The channel has grown and changed over time, but that central conviction has never changed. Today, we make content around biblical and theological topics, often interacting with people from across the Christian tradition with the hope of seeking greater unity and introducing people to the beautiful simplicity and transformative power of the gospel, the good news about Jesus.
About the host:
Austin Suggs holds a BA in Theology from Moody Bible Institute and is currently pursuing an MA in Liberal Arts with a focus in Theology and Philosophy from St. John's College, Annapolis. He has served in the local church in a number of ways, including as a full-time staff member,, teacher, church planter, and more. Today, he resides outside of Baltimore with his wife Eliza.

Well the people who tell us it was “dark” also tend to glorify empires which enslaved people and which were constantly at war.
So not much different from today
If it wasn't for those empires, we would have very few of the luxuries we have today. It's easy to look back on them in a judgemental way without being intellectually honest enough to admit what they did for us and how much we owe to them.
@@thepuffinpanda9139 Slaves built pyramids and castles whilst pharaohs and kings stuffed their faces and murdered the weak and THAT …..THAT caused people to invent thins !?!? So……Alexander Graham Bell and the Wright Brothers etc…..were living under the rule of EMPERORS ?!?!?!
Have you ever read St. Vincent of Lerin's work, the Commonitorium? I would highly suggest it if not. It is about how to distinguish truth from heresy from a Patristic lens.
