Guelph Dining District Feedback

Guelph’s Dining District Pilot Project Feedback during the third week of implementation. This is a compiled and edited version of the interviews so far. I will be posting them all unedited very soon. Obviously there’s more feedback to come. Both positive and perhaps negative, and of course this is mostly from the citizen/customer point of view. I didn’t this on a spur of the moment and randomly asked people to do it. I appreciated their input and the patience of my lovely wife who hung out with me as I did this! This is great for the family that owns shops downtown Guelph. We should keep this up every summer on weekends when cv19 blows over. Thank you Mayor of Guelph! keep up the good job.

This is an awesome improvement to what Guelph would normally look like on a weekend evening downtown. It wasn't a pretty picture. This makes it seem more inviting and festive and safe. I hope it continues beyond covid.

The city of Hamilton has had stuff like this for decades. Guelph is WAY behind.

This should have happened way before Covid-19. Downtown has always been a dead zone; except for making money off of alchoholics.
