    You are a clown. If you need more money for social services than go ask your Master Justine Castro. I can see why you disabled comments on your other cuckold videos. Why don't you donate your family wealth and your salaries to fix Guelph. Or tell the corrupt judicial system to get these degenerate people off the streets. You could give the government billions more every year and they will find a way to waste it on useless projects or pocket it through friends and family. Disgusting traitors with no accountability

    There are people who disagree. Even the WHO says policy makers shouldn't mandate masks. Have a look at the conclusions on aapsonline. But, absolutely no dissent is allowed. Cam will likely remove this post. Hi Cam! :) Regardless, the policy makers are wrong. We are free and should be able to make choices for ourselves. These directives do not keep us safe. The car free downtown has other issues that people on a friday or saturday night out for dinner do not consider. Parking. Getting people's goods to their cars. Workers in downtown who would have a long walk to their job. High rent, low traffic. More issues. Regardless, i appreciate you going out and asking people what they think. Masks: “Governments are enforcing laws, by-laws and “health” directives that thereby put the general population at risk, while not having satisfied the onus of demonstrating that their draconian policies are safe, and not harmful to the very fabric of society.” And aapsonline.org/mask-facts/ ocla.ca/ocla-recommends-civil-disobedience-against-mandatory-masking/

    • @Sandatola
      @Sandatola Před 4 lety

      Mark - you may disagree but health officials have kind of coalesced around this issue in the last few weeks. We now have better data to support such recommendations. Mask-wearing is only one tool to prevent the spread, as part of the three W's: Wear a mask, Wash your hands, and Watch your distance. If you are disinclined to do it yourself, exercise that freedom but please don't impose your perspective on others. We need as close to full compliance as possible for this to be effective. Further reading: www.ucsf.edu/news/2020/06/417906/still-confused-about-masks-heres-science-behind-how-face-masks-prevent

    • @bluntie52
      @bluntie52 Před 4 lety

      Im on the fence about masks. Last weekend I had a severe headache after wearing a mask for 5 hours so I agree with doctors who state there are health risks with wearing a mask as well. We dont need science to prove this, we only need to wear a mask long term and use logic... we are breathing out CO2 and breathing in CO2. I 100% support freedom of speech and of choice so long as we all respect each other.

      @bluntie52 Před 4 lety

      Mark, I didnt see your read more. so you do have a point about the car free downtown making things more difficult for others and I would need to know more about that but for the most part this is creating more of a family and friends environment and bringing back downtown Guelph. This is a vast improvement from what it was before COVID.

    • @Rivaflush
      @Rivaflush Před 4 lety

      @@bluntie52 I'm glad to hear downtown seems revitalized and better than it was. I'm certainly not trying to be contrary just to be that way. I have stong opinions and i voice them. I appreciate the dialogue. It's hard to get policy right and even more difficult when you have to play by the rules set by other levels of government and public health. They've done a good job with the car free downtown judging by the public reaction and i'm glad that it's having a positive impact. The businesses are working hard down there, that's for sure. I still strongly oppose the mandated masks. :)

    Hey Windbag - I just video taped at Whtielaw and Fife for an hour and out of hundreds of cars, only 9 actually stopped at the stop sign. This is a problem I see at intersections all over the city. Meanwhile , in my neck of the woods, I only heard about homecoming because of your hot air. Thanks for ignoring the neighborhood in which you displaced decent councilors from assisting and congrats on rising to the level of your incompetence. As promised, if you became Mayor I said I was leaving town. My house is on the verge of closing and I will be gone leaving behind only the memories of what used to be the best place on earth to live. Thanks for your lack of service Cam. You represent all that is wrong with the earth. But your wife sings a mean anthem right? Of the nine cars that did stop, 4 were due to the fact I was running towards them while obviously taping them. 4 were most likely actual stops due to the pedestrian with a walking child and a child in a stroller. The first to stop was a gear headed looking scroat in a muscle type mustang. Fully stopped and respected my neighborhood without any compelling reason. I found at least a dozen matching license plates at Parkwood gardens church as cars that did not stop. Please get rid of the church and let more bikers live here. I would much rather share the road and my city with them. As for unruly Students? Well by October I have no issue with them - the bright lights big city syndrome is fleeting. Lighten up you sore a$$ loser old uptight jerks and if there is too much money to tend to something then charge taxes where the money needs to be spent. Or put up a red light camera at Fife and Whitelaw. At 70 bucks a ticket the city would be up at least 7 grand in the hour I stood in the shadows taping. But what will actually happen? Windbag here will keep on crying. The rich will get richer. The kids with the really crappy skate park who had to wait until their kids had kids old enough to skateboard have no idea what a sub standard piece of junk they received for patiently waiting in line and following your model Cam. Somethings seriously wrong when the Church goers are the actual scourge of every neighborhood (who are also mostly older than student age) and students are the thing that make you cry like a baby. This is what happens when spoiled rich babies with no life experience except what is experienced through a church are put in charge of a city. We condemn the future generation while letting the "privileged" behave in a socially detrimental fashion and do nothing but slap fines on those that can least afford to pay them and lack resources to change their behavior. Haven't you learned through failures like photo radar that the wealthy don't have to obey laws. They also pay fines. So Cam, here's a free tip for you. Start targeting the actual targets and watch your financial coffers fill......keep waiting for the poor to squeeze out another dime for inflated property taxes in arrears for years, while we can't afford the hydro bill, all the while waiting for the same old junkie to pay his 40th fine.....yeah, that's sound fiscal planning for ya. Rich baby 101. Yeah Cam!!!! I love being right but it sucks that humanity has to suffer to see the proof.

    That's funny if you think that these kids care about the full time residents that live here. I was not impacted Saturday, but as a tax payer I have a massive issue with it. Just curious about a few points. The 4000 to 5000 people that were at the dorms, they were mostly from outside the city? Their was a permit issued for that party and the other parties throughout the city? The university paid the salary of the 20 police officers and medical personal that were at the dorms?

    Same crap will happen again next year, and every other year, there isn't nearly enough resources , call the police, call bylaw, 6 hours later they will show up and nothing is done about it! Just happen's again next weekend. maybe there should be way stiffer penalties to these kids, if us adults did this behavior like students do we would be locked up, students? hell no! give the a pat on the back and tell them to behave, because that really seems to work, how about the city of guelph starting to actually give a damn about the people who live here 12 months of year every year?

      Jason Parker Apparently after several warnings, a noise bylaw infraction ticket can be issued. At one time that would have been a deterrent, but the quality of young people attending university has deteriorated, especially in the past 10 years. Many if not most have been pampered by lenient teachers and permissive parents, who will just pay the fine on the little darlings' behalf. They have no sense of responsibility as a result of never experiencing Consequences for inappropriate behaviours.

      Crystalline Blue we watched a huge fight and party go down on Cole road and Scottsdale, police were called, they sat in the hasty mart parking lot and did nothing, all while drunk idiots body slammed each other into cars, punched and kicked each other, smashed beer bottles etc everywhere, we also watched a car full of students try to drift they're car through the red light at stone and Scottsdale, smashed into the curb causing severe damage to the rear wheel and side, my daughter waved down an spoke to a guelph police officer and told them what happened as the idiot tried to drive the damaged car to the Hanlon, police said they would deal with it, they drove away from it in the opposite direction, car stopped itself on stone and Hanlon where finally opp came along and spent 45 mins with the driver and was then arrested, another tenant of mine called police for a huge party out of cars in the staples parking lot right behind my complex, he called police, they came, drove through the lot without stopping and kept going! This happened alot, like the police were inclined to do nothing about anything! It's damn disgusting. If it was one of us full time residents we would be in jail, but it's perfectly ok for students to do whatever they like

    I know these events tend to get rowdy, but for the most part, the University students are good kids, they are responsible and have a bright future. I would rather have a house full of students in my neighborhood rather than the losers down the street from me on Waterloo Ave....losers that steal bikes, deal drugs and break into the neighbors garages, sheds, and cars. We don't even feel safe in our neighborhood anymore since these drug addicts moved in...I would happily deal with some drunken students once in a while, than have to deal with these drug addicted criminals down the street.

    Right now the students have no other support to have a respectful and safe homecoming other than people saying "don't drink and party". It's going to happen, every university known to man parties and they party hard. How are you surprised students are all over the city with how it's controlled right now?? People are saying "LOCK THEM ALL UP" and "use the fines you dole out to pay for the city clean up." How about shutting down a few blocks and charging admission, then using the proceeds from that to clean up? See what I did there? I proactive positive solution will go a lot further than the "register your parties or you'll receive massive fines, go back to where you came from, pitchforks raised" attitude Guelph authorities and permanent residents have towards this issue currently
