Eish memories... Early 90s I was in a primary school called Tswaraganyo, we were separated from the hostel by an open veld. We were usually the 1st to hear the AKs if war started during school hours. We'd see the crossover from the hostel to the kasi, guys bare chested with red pieces of cloth around their arms and heads
I've had to run through battle many times, I've seen loads of bodies in thokoza, mind you I was 8/9 yrs. At times we'd wake up to burnt bodies infront of the gate
My cousins had to dress up as girls coz word was all the boys were to be killed, this brought back so much memories
This guy is opening up old wounds. We lost a lot of friends and family during those times. Schooling was so disrupted, I know a lot of people who didn't ever go back to school since those times. It was a dark time in South Africa. Azania was burning.

But he bought ammunition from a policeman who was living and working together with IFP guys. I thought Apla was targeted as well by police, I'm shocked to learn that they also were working with the police. How come were.you not.arrested?
