there is a similar feature in Davinici that does that. It is indeed a big time saver. Otherwise you lose out on like 1h - 2h just by manually going through everything. One feature that Capcut has right now a leg on over Davinci is to me the magic mask. It is just for my cases way better in cutting out videos or images. Especially on Anime stuff. Most AIs totally struggle to deal with that format. And sadly Davinci is no exception.
Davinci is free right?? I've been wanting to try it out but I wanted to ask how well does the automatic silence remover work on Davinci because Capcut sometimes cuts off part of the word when I go to delete a part of silence so then I have to manually go in and correct what it did

yea if you have a lot of clips what you can do is put all of them on the timeline then select all of them by just clicking and dragging your cursor over all your clips and then right click and choose "create compound clip" that will turn them into one clip and then you can use the transcription-based editing feature . hope that helps!

Seems like a nice feature but sometimes you want those parts where you are not talking because you need that part of the video and will record a voice over.
Yes that's no problem because you can manually choose to leave a part of silence in if you need that part for the video 👍
Wow 👍 just tried your recommendation of using CapCut Pro to edit a short video on Electric Vehicles that we published to CZcams... and it cut 3 seconds off the short with just 2 clicks (taking only about 12 sec to make the edits which normally would probably have taken 12 minutes). This will save a bunch of time... from now on. Thanks! 😍

Unfortunately depending on what country you're from and if you're on a Mac for some reason Capcut isn't giving everyone the same features. I didn't know this until all the comments I got from people saying they don't have this feature

I thoroughly enjoy using this feature. I have a 90-minute video, and I'd like it to automatically remove spaces. However, the icon doesn't appear, and I'm up to date, even in the beta version. I deliberately turned on the proxy and converted it to MPEG-4, but I still don't see any changes. My system has ample power with a GTX 3070, 12GB of RAM on a 16GB computer, more than enough caching space, and a robust CPU running Windows 10. Despite this, the icon remains elusive, and everything else appears to be the same.

@@AIWebbTV In Canada, I found that the online version of VAI works for editing, but not in the software. It seems strange for a country to matter, especially when there is no language barrier needed for editing, especially when the video is in English. Other AI pieces work perfectly fine in the software, and I can see at least three or more AIs, just not the one that matters for the biggest function I use.

Will this work for my workout videos? I want something I can upload my video of me workout out and have AI add a timer to each exercise, add text when a rest is needed, add what exercises is being performed and add a small box of me doing the next exercise. Or am I better off doing this manually? Thanks ! Great video!
Unfortunately this is more geared to automatically removing silence and unwanted words, for what your looking for it's probably best to just manually do it the AI is not quite there

On my PC in the desktop version (3.3 beta 4) this option is not there, BUT in the ONLINE version it is as TRANSCRIBE.

I'm just curious if you used this technique to edit this video, because there are some very odd mid-word cuts that I'm sure you didn't intend. Possibly a shortcoming of CapCut?
Yes I did, if I wasn't in a hurry I would have fixed that manually, and yes your correct those strange mid word cuts are most likely a result of this feature being a brand new AI and like any other AI tool there will always be the first initial phase where they have to work out the bugs but I have no doubt they'll have that fixed in no time it's the best free editing software ever you will not find anything better!
Still didn't have a problem following your vid, so if this is initial phasing, imagine the next phases!

As far as I understand, CapCut has certain restrictions, and certain materials can only be used on CapCut and TikTok. What can you say about this?
I don't see how that could be possible 🤔 since CZcams is an entirely different platform that has nothing to do with Capcut I don't see how they could ever effect your monetization. Is your channel monetized already? My channel is monetized and I use capcut to edit every video and I've never had a problem with monetization, hopefully that helps but if I missed what you were saying just let me know or if you need more help my email is in the description

Yea I do actually the best option is either Pictory or Invideo I have links for those in the description, or there's another one called Augie which was in beta when I made a video about it and it was free at the time

Honestly I don't use any of them that much anymore I pretty much stick to just screen recording but I'll tell you Augie incorporates giphy's database... So it will add gifs, stock footage, images from the internet, as well as AI generated images automatically all you have to do is add a script or a voiceover and it will do the rest you can even clone your voice so you can type a script and it will use your cloned voice to generate a whole voiceover with your voice without you even having to record anything,, it's a really cool tool I'll probably make a new video on it soon

I'm going to try this out, but the audio cuts in this video, which I assume you created with capcut, where very abrupt and unpleasing to the ear. If that is what capcut is capable of, i'm not sure I want it.
disappointed throughout the video you emphasize that feature is free, yet it's a pro feature not free. It may be that they changed that after you made the video, but the video is only 3 weeks old. I'm just gonna say disappointed.
Sorry about the confusion but I did specify the Transcript-based editing is a completely free feature everyone can use. Yes you have to manually click delete however capcuts AI has already analyzed and selected all areas of silence you just click delete on all of them it's way faster than traditional timeline editing at least for me. The option to remove all the silence in one click is for Pro users hopefully that clears it up sorry for the confusion

At 5:15 he clearly states that an upgrade is necessary to use this tool this way but even without it still highlights the areas for you. You just have to manually delete them. Still saves you a ton of time.

I use the same feature on Davinci resolve 18 Paid version...i dont think its there on Capcut free desktop version...also in capcut some features are OFF if your internet gets disconnected...but the free version is pretty awesome to use...

Help me out. Used Capcut desktop for 1st time the other day, but when it came time to download it seemed like it wanted me 2 pay to get my file. Did i miss something?
Capcut is free so when you went to download did it say something like you need to upgrade to Pro to download? If so that means you used a pro feature within your editing, if you notice on certain things like effects and other features inside Capcut they are marked Pro on the top left corner, these features are only for paid users, so in order to download your video for free you must remove any feature that you used that is marked Pro. I hope I am explaining that in a way you understand, let me know if your still having trouble

I'm sorry bro but the problem is that for some reason Capcut isn't giving everyone the same features. I wasn't aware of this problem until I posted this video. So many people are having the same problem where they don't see this option. Not only India but even people from U.S. don't have the option. I don't know how to fix it, I had someone comment from Brazil saying they deleted Capcut then used a VPN to download again and more features showed up but if you're already using VPN I'm not sure how to fix it , Capcut just needs to give everyone the same features I'm sorry I don't any way to fix it 😞
I thought it would be Automatic by the title of the video. You did a lot of manual editing. Don't get me wrong, this tool is very handy and amazing, but I was looking for a smart editing feature (by the title description), I am used to transcript editing since its also on premiere. What happen if you want to delete all silences and fillers at once, do you have to pay for that ? I usually do that in premiere since I already pay for the basic stuff for work. But I am testing Capcut now also.
Yea in order to delete all silence or filler words at once you have to upgrade to Pro, if you use Premier im sure it's better but I think for people who aren't too advanced with editing Capcut is the best

In their terms of service they say it’s for personal use only and not commercial use but yet CZcamsrs use it for CZcams videos and channels get monetised and capcut in their FAQs state yes CZcams monetisation is allowed. Am I misunderstanding something.
🤔 as far as getting monetized on CZcams, you will get monetized as long as you're creating original content and following CZcams's terms of service like no violence and things like that. Capcut is just a video editing software so that has nothing to do with CZcams, I know this because I edit all my videos with Capcut and my channel is monetized , I hope that helps

Where are you from. A lot of people have been telling me they live outside of the U.S. or they're on Mac and they don't have these features. For some reason Capcut isn't giving everyone the same features.. I did just have someone tell me they deleted Capcut and re-downloaded it using a VPN from New York USA and the features showed up, but I can't guarantee that will work because I've never done it myself.. good luck 🤞

This is very strange to me because I'm on windows desktop too and I have it? I don't know what Capcut is doing because I'm hearing from some people saying they have it and others say they don't. Very frustrating 😡
@@AIWebbTV @HoyTara Same here, I just installed it on windows using the link above and I saw the option in the first run like a tutorial. Then the app offered the upgrade from 3.3.0 to version 3.4.0 and after the update the option is gone. No icon for transcription-based editing. I uninstalled, cleared all the files and installed it again, no luck. This option is not available. I can add the automatic generated captions to the clips but no AI editing is available for me :(

It's hard to say because a lot of people are telling me that they don't have this feature depending on what country they're from and if they're on Mac or windows.. your best bet is to just download it and try it out to see if it works it's free so you have nothing to lose 👍

That's weird what country are you from and are you using a Mac? I've had many people from different countries and people who use Mac tell me they don't have any of the AI features that I show on my version of Capcut. I'm not sure why but for some reason Capcut isn't giving everyone the same features. Maybe try deleting and then reinstall Capcut ?

But in the pc version I don't have the transcript based editing function as described by you. I see from the comments below that there are many who have the same issue. Any advise?
i do real estate video walk throughs so multiple clips to build the story. in what way would this speed up anything in my workflow. i would say for this line of video editing.... for now.... none
For your real estate walk through videos there is another free function from Capcut that will automatically take your media files, cut them and place them together in an edited video I think that would be more helpful for your use case! I'm using MacOs and I'm on CapCut 3.3.0 - it says this is a PRO feature. It analyzed mine and will only export the video if I upgrade unfortunately. Maybe they had it in Beta and now it's only for pro users?
For me it let's me click on the transcript-based editing and use this function for free, once I'm editing the transcript there is a button at the top that says remove all silence and filler words , that option is marked for only Pro users, but as far as editing using the transcript it shows as free for me, I have gotten a lot of comments from people saying either they don't have this feature at all or it is for Pro. It seems that Capcut isn't giving the same features to everyone, Mac users have different features from windows and also people from different countries have different features. I have no idea why Capcut is doing this

It looks like the feature has been enhanced. The button says "remove filter words." Only for Pro version. I'm on a MAC

i use the same cap cut you have but I'm not seeing this editing option anywhere, i have the app downloaded on my pc and nothing but when i go to use it in the browser its there. im on version 3.7.0 and I'm in Australia but i have a vpn its verry strange.
Probably due to where you live, unfortunately I have a ton of people telling me they don't have this feature and it's because of what country you live in or if you're using Mac Capcut doesn't give everyone the same features, idk why but it makes no sense to me

yes it does! it's under a different feature called " AI clip shorts" upload your long form content and it will automatically create reels for you from the long video and it's a Free feature as well!

If you pay for pro you should definitely have it. I am using the windows desktop version, I left a link in the description, are you using it on your phone? Sometimes Capcut is weird and has different features on the phone than on the desktop version

Sorry it's probably because of what country you're in. You can try to delete Capcut and re-downloading using a VPN from USA but I can't guarantee that it will work Ive had people tell me they tried that and new AI features show up

A lot of people saying they have this feature and a lot saying they don't have this feature. That's the one frustrating thing about Capcut they don't put the same features across all platforms. Best advice is just try to find it when editing on your phone. Thanks for watching!

Idk my brother it could be a number of different reasons why you don't have it, since I made this video I had so many people tell me they don't have it. Some because they're outside the U.S. some because they're on Mac and not windows desktop I tried researching it but Capcut doesn't really have any information on why different people have different features it's weird

Has this not been rolled out across version 3.4.0? I am not seeing the button in the toolbar.
It randomly popped into my window as a tile to the left and I used it for my latest video but once I exit capcut for something, that window/tile was gone and I haven't been able to find it yet.
Anyone else experiencing this feature to be buggy?
it's not there for me on Mac desktop version. I saw a thread that said to use a VPN if outside the USA but that didn't help either.
@@NatGreenOnline yea that is what I was planning to do next on my side too; I am in Canada and most likely it just rolled out for the US. That said, I am seeing it appear “randomly” a lot more in my CapCut now so they might be testing an A/B test of it for here…or maybe it’s just a bad feature flag 😂

I dont have the TRANSCRIPT BASED EDITING button on my screen. How do I get it?
The problem is that for whatever reason people in different countries have different features for some reason Capcut isn't giving everyone the same features. If you're from outside the U.S. I have had people tell me they tried deleting Capcut then they used a VPN from U.S. and download it again and new features showed up they didn't have before. But I have never had to do that so I can't guarantee that would work
What version is this? I'm on 3.2.0, and I can't see this button.
This is the windows desktop version but I have to check what update I'm on because it's really weird that so many people are telling me they don't have this feature.. it's frustrating that Capcut doesn't have the same features on all platforms idk why they do that 😔

I did one video. After editing the video. Cap cut wouldn’t let me saving it with it sending too there site.. then wouldn’t let me share it unless you signed up as a member their thieves…
If it says you need to upgrade to Pro in order to download your video then you used a pro feature within your editing. You need to remove whichever Pro feature you used and then you will be able to download for free, I hope that helps!
man there is some way to zoom the audio form from a video? I mean, I need a vertical zoom in audio because capcut only zoom in horizontal. the timeline :(
As far as I know there is only one way to zoom in on the timeline, what is it that your trying to do that you need to zoom in vertically?
I work in a audio mixing tutorial account so I need to view with details the form of audio in every clip, but the timeline in capcut is so small @@AIWebbTV
Ohh well maybe using something like pro tools or audacity first to view with details the audio form and then once you get it right import it into Capcut? I'm not sure if that would work for you but yea I know what you mean the timeline is really small for editing like that
@axelezequiel97 --On a Mac desktop, you can use a mouse with a scroll wheel (or an apple magic mouse) to quickly zoom in, by using the "command" + scroll wheel (or forward swipe on an apple magic mouse) and it zooms right in to sub-frame accuracy. If you're having trouble actually viewing the audio wave-forms in a video (because they are sooo small in CapCut, yes it's such a pain!), just right-click the video, "extract audio", and CapCut creates an audio file with peaks that are much easier to see and work with.
i use CAPCUT DESKTOP VERSION with ALL of my videos and yes its a BEAST but this is for the PRO VERSION and you MUST pay for it , sadly this video is misleading
I don't have pro I am using the Free version I tried to make it clear that you can use the transcript based editor for free you just can't do the 1 click option for free anymore, it was free. But even still it automatically finds all silences all you have to do is click delete on each one which saves a huge amount of time and is way faster than regular timeline editing. I am not trying to mislead anybody I said it in the video 1 click option is for Pro

That's not what I'm about you can look at all my videos and all of them are just showing everyone free tools they can use and I don't ask for anything in exchange. If you guys feel mislead then I apologize for not explaining it clearly

No I'm only using the Free desktop version. The option to remove all silence in one click is for Pro but you can still use the transcript-based editing for free it saves so much time

Yea but it would probably take a very long time for it to analyze and transcribe. I would recommend cutting your video into 30 min sections so it won't take so long to transcribe
That tool is not on all capcuts 🤷🏻♀️ i am on mac desktop, and i am missing a lot of tools, so its only cool for those that have it, probably pc users..
I looked that up and it seems like it used to be on Mac and iPhone but now a lot of people are saying after the update it's no longer on Mac. That's the one thing that annoys me with Capcut all features should be the same for all users 😞

@@AIWebbTV different problem here...got exited after seeing your video and tried to upload a wav, then a mp4 and nothing is not working. The material shows up on the side, but then transcription pressed I get an error message. I troubleshooted online in blogs - found lenght does not must exceed 15 minutes, cut material in sections below, loaded them up, still same error message. Deleted all but one 14 minute piece, same error message and found eventually a reddit post from 3 years ago with last answer two years ago, all people facing same problem. Congrats on Capcuts-team for fixing this bug within time...not...lol

The transcript-based editing is a free feature you can see on the video I'm on a free account and I was able to use it, it's just the option that removes all silence in one click that's a Pro feature.. I hope that clears it up!
