Most deadbeat parents will not care their own children.
Yet, you saved Duncan and gave him a home and love.
I care less about GoPro, but wonderful story from you and Duncan.
they probably do care about their kids if they have kids, cause if they didn't care about their kids that would go for the dogs to.
At the end of the day all that matters is that he is happy and is having a good life and is living it to the full.

Reading some of the comments. Anyone who calls this cruel clearly does not have any familiarity with what a happy dog looks like. This dog was born without back legs. He's not in pain, so how is this cruel? He's a happy little dog who has learned to live like a dog thanks to very loving people. I am absolutely awed and touched by this wonderful story!

Duncan was born with deformed back legs & Amanda addresses this in the vid. She was given two choices either put Duncan down or remove his back legs.
This puppy is so inspiring. He runs so well it's hard to believe he's only got 2 legs. What a brave dog. I hope he has the happiest life, he bloody well deserves it.
He is, he's with a loving family. I would know.
He's better off than a lot of other dogs. He's happy.

I know this comment is 2 years old but...
I think it's because he hasn't ever used his legs so his body just adapted. Plus the muscles that would normally be in his back end moving those legs either never developed or never grew further and disintegrated/atrophied making the back end lighter.
Also I'm guessing his tail help, kinda like a cats.
This is all guessing I have no idea if it's true or even close but... Yeah
and the front legs got stronger than they should be because he has to carry his whole weight with them
who would dislike this think if you only had 2 legs of arms this should make people cry this shows that people have good hearts to take a dog like this most of the people who walk and see the dog say nasty or eww HATS OUT TO THESE DOG LOVERS

Right in the feels
This has been an inspiration to my family and dog. My baby lodt one of his back legs at 10 weeks and before the amputation took place we watched videos of Duncan to give us hope. Thank you for sharing his and your amazing story. Btw my boy looks like he could be Duncans brother.
This dog is very skilled, he's learned how to be able to walk and run just like your average dog. It's amazing how these creatures can adapt!
I normally don't watch all GoPro videos, but when it comes to animals, I make an exception. In this case, I'm especially glad I did. It is so heartwarming & touching to see that Duncan has found (or people found him) people that truly care for him. Duncan, you lucky dog! Thanks guys for opening your hearts to this truly inspirational animal.

Boxers are the most beautiful breed, so loving and loyal. These are amazing humans with beautiful hearts, giving a loving home and family to this beautiful puppy.

The way Duncan walks reminds me of how a human walks. Even how he goes downstairs reminds me of how humans do it. I think you guys did an amazing job raising him because hes obviously imprinted of of you and learned from you.
I had a single below the knee amputation after an injury and subsequent infection nearly killed me. As soon as I figured out that I could live with that I did not let my handicap be a handicap. I play drums, I am in training for a 50 mile bikathon and I am already up to 30 km in a Saturday afternoon. I have flown in gliders and so much else and I dance as well. And I am in severe pain but I won't let it keep me down, no way. I was gently reminded and inspired by Duncan's story because that is how it goes. We want to be normal and we will put in the work because we are ALIVE. Thank you for sharing him.

anyone saying this is cruel doesn't understand. this is incredible, does this dog look miserable to you? because to me he looks healthy and happy and insanely loved. just because he's handicapped doesn't mean his life should be ended because it would "be in his best interest". if you had no legs or no arms but everything else was perfect and you could still see and hear and love one another, would you want to be killed because someone thinks that you have nothing to live for? just think before you speak and realize that everyone and everything is different and beautiful in its own way.
I believe this video shows that even faced with the toughest of barriers, you can still break through them. Duncan is amazing.

I find it almost ballet-like and beautiful that Duncan has found a way of locomotion that is every bit as efficient and remarkably graceful as a greyhound even with the lack of half of his limbs!!! ***** Do you think you could do as well with one leg?
Duncan is awesome and so are the folks that brought him into their family! Every dog (all animals!) deserves the love of a family like yours. Animals are amazing and I don't have words to describe people who abuse them.

haha Boxers are skinny for like the first 4 years bro. My first dog was Lula the Boxer and not only did she stay crack skinny and eat everything all day long... she stayed a pup till she was like 5. This guy reminds me of her its that Boxer face. Lula RIP 96 - 06
yeah, its most probably a combination of duncan's breed and the fact that probably exert a lot of energy maintaining balance on the 2 legs. They're pretty obviously in awesome hands all in all.

As a boxer owner I am in no way surprised by this dog. Their level of enthusiasm and love of life is unmatched by few in the dog world. My dog injured himself and it took me a few minutes to notice because he barely slowed down when it happened. The hardest part is keeping them calm long enough to recover. I imagine you had a hard time after the operation getting him to not get too exited and active. My dog drove a branch of a tree through his leg chasing a squirrel.

Thank you for your video. Both of you and Duncan are inspirational! People leave their pets and move, abandon them if they get sick, you took a dog that no one else would have and proved that the love you take is equal to the love you make.
