- A New Year update from Dongits Model Railway, showing the progress of construction over the Christmas period. The four track mainline is laid from the south side of the room across to the north side via the lift out bridge.

I am considering having a 2 lane track above my original 3 lanes. What height would you suggest is a suitable height to allow access if anything went wrong on the bottom rails
Assuming the lower three tracks are effectively hidden loops/sidings/tunnel, you want enough height to stick your arm in above the stock and below the baseboard supports above. You can get away with less if the distance is short.

Your vocal audio is excellent one of the best I’ve heard however if you don’t mind me saying the dead bits of total silence are not so good I personally like a gentle bit of incidental music in the background to fill in as for the context of your video I found it very good , quite informative 👍
