- Happy weekend everyone! For today’s episode, I thought I’d share a project that I’ve been working on for a few weeks. This is a Hoover Guradsman in red and chrome, but it’s a little bit of a multifaceted monster that took shape pretty quickly after I started in on it. This is what I consider to be my attempt at making an early version of this machine, which I go more in depth in the video. I hope you all enjoy today’s episode and please don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe!
What a beautiful Hoover! Love the red trim reminds me of my Kirby Classic III! Which was my great grandmothers still working great 46 years later!
Thank you so much! And thanks for watching!
Beautiful Guardsmen
Thank you so much!
Just realized that you don't have a review of a Royal upright.

I sold a guardsman celebrity last year on ebay.
@@kirbykid63 oh awesome! I have one of those too :) thanks for watching!
Do you see any advantage of the hoover/eureka/sanitaire shaped machines over the kirby style?
Oh yes! Kirbys are great machines, but they will always be a very heavy vacuum due to their construction. The design of Hoovers and Eurekas similar to this Guardsman lend themselves to cutting down weight in areas like plastic bases and handles versus metal. On top of that, parts for the Hoovers and Eurekas are considerably cheaper than Kirby parts and normally are compatible with many other models whereas Kirby parts are not always interchangeable
@@Konstellation_Karl_55 Karl, who first came out with this "low-boy" design? Hoover or Eureka, or someone else? Also, is there a best in class for these style of machines?
Love your videos but your audio is very low. Just an FYI😀
Oh yes! My apologies. I’m still learning how to do the audio for videos. Thank you for watching!
