- Hello CZcams, people of Earth, and everyone else! Welcome to the channel!
A little bit different from my format of late, wanted to switch things up and actually talk about something I'm pretty passionate about: combos! This video provides an explanation for newer fighting game players (and any other viewer) that is interested in learning about how combos work in Tekken and others like it. I also wanted to mention why I think Tekken's combos specifically are really satisfying to pull off! Enjoy the video guys! - Hry
Thank you. The point you made, was exactly what I tried to explain to some others about player control, and why it's better than when game itself does the sequence of actions for you.
Yeah man! Love the immersion of Tekken, especially with how polished it is
@@rdldatrain Thank you even more for mentioning immersion. What Tekken does is real immersion.
Great video, explanation, cuts and sense of humour.
Thank you!
Every time I see another video about Tekken 8 it reminds me how well designed Soulcalibur is.
Don’t know too much about SC, but what I’ve seen looks like a good time 🤘
Is this ironic?
@@Guitar-Dog some people like SC, some don’t. It’s not my thing personally, but some people dig it
Yeah soul caliburs good..
I think this guy's hating on Tekken though..
Maybe the man's just loves SC
@@rdldatrain It is. You should look into it!
Totally agree! The only people that doesn't like tekken are the ones that can't pull out a combo😂
I partially echo that, though I will say Tekken took a bit of getting used to for me. I bought T7 in 2015 after only having played MKX and Tatsunoko vs Capcom for fighting games, neither of which I the combos anyway. When Tekken 8 was announced, I decided to repurchase T7 and learn it, and started to learn combos, and now I love Tekken head over heels. But people don’t typically play 3D fighters first, so this style of combo is likely strange to them as they don’t require cancels and is a bit unique with the gravity and the abnormal diagonal inputs. But we do love us our 1000 meter dribbles across the stage here in Tekken and I wish it would get more people who are willing to learn
Always questions the bear!!lol
Hey man, what is da bear doin’?
3:10 heat also let's u use frame perfect moves, without needing a frame perfect input, like EWGF, or like half of lee's kit
Correct! Tbf none of my characters really have just frames other than Law, but I haven’t played him much since T7.
i love tekken man
It is an incredible game!
great video
Thank you!
good video
Thank you!
Don’t diss my bears they ain’t hurt no one
No hate here, just trying to figure out what they be doin 😂
You dirty bear players don't deserve air and you know it😂😂🤪
Fuck rage ultras in tekken it lasts too long and inturrupts the flow.
Good stuff brother.
Love and blessings!
Thanks man! I will say Tekken actually has like the fastest ultra moves in fighting games. MK1’s Fatal Blows are literally like 15 seconds by themselves plus the already egregious combo times in that game. SF6’s are fine because they’re really well animated! Tekken also has mostly well animated ones this go round. I also agree that games often are reliant on panic buttons now, but sometimes you need them to win
