Well, a gun was pointed at him so he had no other choice but to look. If not, he would've punched that douchebag, got Yuna and hauled ass.
Yeah, after having fighting giant kickboxer robots and flametrower armed soldiers and despite having fucking magical powers an old man with a little pistol is what it takes to stop him.
You see they were using Gameplay Firearms, which only hurt a little bit. Kinoc had a Cutscene Pistol, which is instantly lethal per-the thematical needs of the scene.
A wedding got crashed and no Busted. Shame...

Here's an interesting detail: Titus' reaction of anger is even more profound when framed against the shot of Yuna clenching her fist while Seymore is having his way with her.
This allows the player to see that Titus' reaction is not just purely out of his own feelings but also because of Yuna's. You see how Titus' initial shock first, followed by Yuna clenching her fist, THEN Titus' anger.
Titus cares about how Yuna really feels and, when coupled with his own feelings, shows how he's not just angry because of himself but because Yuna doesn't enjoy a moment of this either.
Very nicely done here!

One of the best scenes because it is so intense, stressful, and emotional at the same time.
whats intense and stressful is trying to beat that piece of crap evrae 5000 times before getting to the damn wedding.
It's really easy if you get all your aeons to overdrive beforehand and just spam their overdrive abilities against evrae.
yeah i remember the first time playing i was a complete noob and got better but stayed average throughout the end but come second time i overpowered everyone 10000 to 40000+ hp (dont really remember its been awhile) and all abilities and beast moded through everyone. ah felt so good evrae had no chance haha. of course the undefeated dark magus sisters remain undefeated without the help of yojimbo but oh well someday a strategy will come to mind and ill go back and beat em too.

Yuna's plan was brilliant, she could have sent Saymour to the Farplane while pretending to marry him, but because her friends tried to "rescue" her, she couldn't do it.. what a tragedy..
+omgmrtea the trouble is, although everyone admired she will be another Yunalesca, they almost think her just is a little girl with the same name as Yunalesca ( even Seymour think the similar, too).
No one ever said anything about Yuna being the next Yunalesca. The only time they draw a comparison is when she explains that she is named after Yunalesca. Other then that, no one at any point ever, draws any parallel between her and Yunalesca. If anything she is constantly being compared to Braska, which is why she bonded so well with Tidus, because he too lives in the shadow of his father's greatness. Even when the party meets and defeats Yunalesca, it is not mentioned. The only thing Yuna has in common with Yunalesca is that she was named after her. No one ever expected her to become like her. At most, they wanted her to have a successfull pilgrimage and that's all.
Totally two years late. But TBH Seymour wasn't a dumbass he knew she'd try and send him no matter what. He'd probably just threaten her with the lives of those at the wedding or pretend her friends were already captured.
@@Xylarxcode Except Seymour directly said "be my Yunalesca to my Lord Zaon" when he proposed to her in Guadosalam. Seymour drew upon the story of Yunalesca and Zaon and how it inspired Spira and how together Yuna and Seymour can bring Spira the same hope and inspiration. He explicitly calls for her to mirror Yunalesca.
The funny thing is that in Macalania Yuna does not need here guardians at all to kick Seymours ass. Shiva can easily solo that entire boss fight. Now imagine here guardians would not have showen up at the Wedding. What would happen? To be honest sending Seymour, still obtaining Bahamut and escaping that dungeon with just here Aeons I would not put passed here. I wonder what Meika would send to fight here is Symour would not be there to take on the Job. Pretty much the only two things she cant handle on here own in Bevelle are Symours boss form and being thrown in the water dungeon since she cant fight undet water.
Can you imagine the trust Yuna must have in her aeons? Like seriously! I don't know if I'd have the guts and the trust to just fall off a building like that.
Valefor was her personal favorite aeon, they had a pet-sort of relationship, you can tell they really cared for each other.
@@mahmoudhaji Not pet, sister relationship. The relationship is built with the Fayth which transfers to the Aeon. The Aeon facilitated the physical aspect of a family relationship.
@@RazielTheUnborn Maybe, but you never see Yuna interacting with the fayth (except if you visit the chamber) I kinda see how that works for Bahamut's fayth, but we only see Yuna petting and interacting with Valefor.
She made a summoning while falling into the void, can you imagine how much faith and will it must take? She was making a prayer head down while falling. That's funny is that at the same time that the church branded her a traitor, she made some prophet like achievement, the kind of things that would serve in the same churches for teaching.

With scenes like this amongst a variety of other things it’ll never cease to amaze me as to why some people think this game sucks. Long live FFX

the voice acting does not age well, and some of the character behavior is hilarious, but wow the music always gets me
Finishing this only earlier this month, this part definitely is a wow moment. Sure the voice acting is kinda rough but the scene is this fucking great

It's been shown within the game that they can just produce their weapons when they need them, like at moments where the cutscenes are done in a way to segue directly into gameplay, they'll just pull them from behind their backs or the scene will cut in such a way that they suddenly have them on hand. I'm guessing it's magic.

Oh absolutely, like similarly you can set the protagonist’s name to your name if you want. And in the romantic cutscenes Yuna actually never says “Tidus” but she does say “you”, referring to him/protagonist.

You don't know how angry I was when I finally beat Evrae after losing to it about 5 times only to die in this section right before getting to Yuna. Now I have to do the entire Evrae boss fight *AGAIN*!

I almost died and had auron left against the big robot and I ended up killing it with his overdrive. Thank god he died with overkill bc I would have cried if I had to redo the entire boss battle after grinding for however long to beat it 😭

No one mentions that Maester Mika, simply interjects to save himself from being sent to the far plane. Of course this is only an allusion, ultimately revealed later in the game, when the party speaks to him in regards to questioning how to defeat sin without Lady Yunalesca's help in summoning the final Aeon.

Its was Khimari carrying Lulu.
Apparently it was too graphically difficult to animate Lulu’s dress moving on the wire, it would have clipped through the cables and would’ve looked off. Kimahri carrying her was the better solution.
@@fabianbladez123 There are a few situations in which they gloss over showing Lulu doing any form of acrobatics (another one that comes to mind is when Kimahri and Tidus jump from the dock in Luca onto the Al Bhed ship; they show Tidus and Kimahri actually jumping, but Lulu is just already there after the cut.)
Of course, this *could* be because the art team didn't give her character model any feet, but also I feel like trying to show Lulu doing these things would just look absurd and break the fourth wall.

13:00 One of the most memorable moments...straight up brilliance in story telling and production. I've said it soo many times that this would make the most epic tv series. Imagine this being a season finale episode and them leaving it open to see how the team is able to catch up to Yuna...

I've played this game 2-3 times but it was probably 20 years ago when I did. I still remember most of the scenes pretty accurately. "Don't worry, I can fly." "Believe." I remember thinking she was kind of crazy back in the day. But even today, my stomach still dropped and I got chills whenever I saw Yuna step off the ledge falling, only to have Valefor catch her. Just such a sick scene.
This is the one cutscene I will never forget. It's the one that started it all. "This wasn't supposed to happen! This was never supposed to happen!"
I think this is the most epic scene in the entire game

When I played this game for the first time about two weeks ago, at 2:28 I was amazed at how awesome they made this scene. So cool!
This is literally my all time favorite cutscene. I remember seeing the intense seen of the team swooping down the cables over a spotlight commercial for the game itself. It took me a while to finally save up for the console and game. It was all worth the wait.

One of my favorite parts of this game was the mission to rescuing Yuna from the clutches of Seymour! Nice cutscene and Yuna’s wedding dress is pretty and flowing! Honorable mention to Velfore coming to her aid.
Valefor grappin' Yuna is a beautiful scene. Love Valefor...that's what friends are for....Valefor.
Honestly Valefor is pretty cool in gameplay aswell if used right. She can attack from a distance and ground enemies cant reach here. Its pretty funny having here just beating them down while they cant fight back at all.
In Dissidia 012 she is also a pretty cool part of Yunas moveset.

I want my wedding to be action-packed...
I randomly got 99 teleport spheres in some ancient ruin in a treasure chest. Then I leveled all my characters to 255 stats using all the stat spheres I gained from killing monsters in the beastmasters lair and teleporting to them with my characters. I met up with Yojimbo and reloaded infinite times, until I got the perfect weapon set with break damage limit for each character in the game, because their special weapons seemed worse. It was tedious indeed. Ending the game was not....
Only thing left is to find a way to not suck at life.
This was my favorite mission
Yuna might be one of the 3 FF's heroines that wore Wedding Suit on-screen (Another 2 are Rosa and Lunafreya)

8:52 the way the scene is shot makes it look like Tidus saw a giant Yuna that was about to destroy the tip of the building
Also , around 1:53 our PS2 froze the game , we took the disc out, cleaned it , put it back & the game took back off where it froze .
I always loved the part where Tidus gets very angry and grimaces his face after the kiss. Back when this came out, characters showing emotion like that didn't happen much (mostly due to technology limitations). The way they portrayed it was awesome.
I miss those kind of games so much...
