Cubejam I've been catching up. Was in September of last year on the Podcast about a month ago. Now only 2 weeks behind and in August of this year. Podcast is about all I watch. Maybe some RT Life's too. Binged a years worth of Podcasts in like a month, not bad. Been keeping me entertained while playing Borderlands 2.

@@girv98 Did you lose your eye when you were young? I've been told that the body will adapt a lot quicker if your body hasnt finished growing yet, compared to if you lost your eye when you were 25+

So what I am learning from this podcast is Drew is Macgyver at Roosterteeth.
Pickles and cucumbers dont't have to be the same thing. "Gherkins" are actually a separate vegetable even when not pickled.
i much prefer the edited in ad reads compared to the ad reads that interrupt the flow of the conversation

Been a while since I’ve watched an episode but pizza-dilla in the title did it for me lol
This episode was genuinely hilarious
a really good way to find your dominant eye; hold your hands mostly over each other so that the spaces between your thumb and index finger form a shape that kinda looks like a small triangle. extend your arms up in front of you with your hands in the same position, and look at a specific thing through the triangle. then you just have to close one eye or the other until you find the one that's looking directly at it.
My vision in my two eyes is so different I can feel my left eye is dominant.
I'd be great if they brought a molecular biologist to the podcast. When they were discussing CRISPR. Sally Le Page being an Evolutionary biologist probably also has some insight into that too.

If you liked the pizza-dilla just keep in mind, it started with chicken breast that was cooked for an hour at insanely high temp so it's already a dry mess, and they chilled it and cooked it again, and again, soggy bread crumbs from the pizza sauce. and the ingredients conflict with each other

Around 56:35 where Barbera is talking about eyes being attacked by your body. Been battling with this same issue near all my life, honestly surprised to hear someone talk about it here. Doctors could never find the reason for it, but my immune system has been pretty adamant about destroying these pesky things.
I literally read an article about this a week before this podcast. I think it was the proteins of the eye jelly but normally the eyes are somehow divorced from the body on terms of your immune system. It has something to do with optic nerves if I remember correctly.
i've been using the Gavin Free, M.D., method every exam season and it's wonderful because it somehow works, though not completely because i can be sure that 3 days after my last exam i'll be sick to the brink of death lmao, but at least i'm not dying during my exams

so apparently the reason people got sick from the fish cleaning their feet is because these places were not changing the water. So if someone went in with an open wound it would contaminate the entire thing. It was less about the fish and more about people putting their feet in dirty water
