What a great bloke blackey has been to the lions and to the afl. Such a humble yet extremely talented player. Laughed really hard when he got up and said "how good's this!"

How humble is this guy, to say he'd be happy enough to play a couple of games and shown the door. 300+ games, a Brownlow, BOG in a granny, what a legend. The game needs more like him, no ego, grateful to have had the opportunity and experience . Go Lions!!!!

@MUFC I see you in all AFL posts. You are definitely more of an AFL fan than a Soccer fan. Haha

To celebrate 10 years since the 3-Peat, why not relive the story of how it all happened?
No better person to remind us than the great Simon Black!
What do you remember about the big day 10 years ago?

Soccer is the biggest and most important sport on Earth and is massive in over 240 countries. Every nation on Earth loves Soccer. Afl is a tiny sport that is only big and relevant in 4 Australian states. Soccer will be the number 1 sport in Australia by 2050 fzhyr

@J G Soccer is so boring. That why idiots who support it have fights all the time. Their is no action on the field, no scoring. Just boring, boring, boring. And stop trolling everyone trying to shovel soccer crap down our throats. Anyone can play soccer, that's the only reason it's the most played. Any idiot can kick a round ball on the ground. It's a joke. Fool!

They were the best champion era team I ever witnessed.
I still say this even though they won a final against my Tigers in 2001 to
start this golden run of finals wins. Definitely the best team I ever watched.
in my mind as time goes by I am more sure of it. Shut down 6 players and another 6 would
destroy you in other parts of the ground. Richmond Hawthorn and Geelong had their eras and
were amazing but Brisbane.. A league of their won.
Will melbourne or Western Bulldogs begin a dynasty tomorrow. GF EVE 2021.

Lions are remembered as one of the teams of the century and Port? well, something we all briefly enjoyed and forgot in the early 2000’s called the choco-shakes😀

Invincibles in that they'll forever be in the record books for the Three-peat. you must either be slow or just stupid to understand this. You can't even spell either.

Doggies 2016 is a better effort than these three combined. AFL so heavily invested in SE QLD orchestrated that this team was able to stockpile an absolutely absurd amount of talent that this sort of success was absolutely inevitable. Not done the hard way like the Dogs or late nineties kangas had to do it. Orchestrated to promote an expansion team in a targeted area. The still got the job done unlike GWS or Gold Coast so well done to them but the advantage they were afforded to make it happen takes the gloss off for me. Most of us in Victoria were happy for it to happen because their grand final day victims were Collingwood twice and Essendon.
