When I was brand new to BTS, the songs I heard didn't really feature Jin. I had not distinguished his voice yet. Until....
I fell in love with his voice when I heard him sing two words, "No Way. No Way." from "House of Cards". He belted those lyrics with such passion and emotion. He reached into my heart and soul and drew me close. No other BTS voice has that special skill of belting. It's different from singing loudly. It's using your upper voice register with the strength and power of your chest voice. That's why Jin's voice is my favorite. Roscoe points out how Jin sounds different singing in the beginning of the song and the ending. That's his acting skills showing through. But true acting is when you say the lines like you've said them for the first time ever. Really good actors never show their acting. You just see a real person speaking their Truth. Jin does that. When I hear his voice like in this song he makes me cry. His voice is so touching and delicate and poetic and stunningly exquisite all at the same time. I always have to put this disclaimer in when I talk about Jin. I completely love and adore all of BTS's voices. I'm not taking away from their brilliant talent that I recognize fully. It's just that Jin's voice touches me in a different way, his special way. Since I'm in Musical Theatre and have taken voice lessons I know how a vocal coach discovers the voice inside you. I remember when I found out I was really a soprano not an alto. It's a life changing personal discovery. A secret about yourself you never knew. I always wonder how Jin felt when his vocal coach discovered his true sound. His amazing singing voice. He must have been astonished because he told her his first lesson that he couldn't sing! I'm sure his vocal coach was elated when she knew she discovered this amazing voice inside Jin. And I can just see Jin's face registering his Truth...that he Could sing! Thank you for this song, Roscoe. And thank you for your insight.
Vous exprimez bien votre cheminement. Mon expérience m'a permis de découvrir que chacun a une particulière qu'il peut développer ou non. Souvent les personnes qui découvrent leur voix sont déroutés. La voix intérieure (celle qu'on entend) qui inclut la transmission crannienne est très différent de celle entendue par le canal aérien d'où la difficulté à accepter celle que tout le monde entend et qui nous est étrangère. C'est l'expérience qui a été vécue par Jin. L'ayant compris il a été plus loin et à su exploiter cette possibilité. Sa voix aussi me touche particulièrement au fur et à mesure que je l'écoute. Il chante avec beaucoup de générosité. Il offre sa voix et ses mots.

Such a BEAUTIFUL SONG Jin is so TALENTED and a Voice like none other
Thanks for this reaction, Roscoe. Yes, indeedy, Jin's voice is like a warm hug. He was devastated by the death of his pets. The members said that he couldn't stop crying when he learned of his dog's death.
He wrote his song about his pets and I cry every time I listen to it as it touches my heart so much. You said you were saved by knowing it was about pets but you would be surprised to know it became a popular song at human funerals because the words are inter relatable to humans as well. Whether you have lost a pet or a loved one this song is relevant and sung in such an angelic emotional way it can not help but pull your heart strings. I love all four vocalists in BTS but only Jin has the ability to bring out the emotion in me when he sings. They can all sing emotionally but Jin brings it to a different level his singing touches your soul and that’s something so rare in singers.
Lowkey feel baffled that anyone would imply that the pain in this song is different because it was about his little companions, jin sounds like an angel and his words are heartfelt- he has the best voice in my opinion so much emotion

This song is so sad, but beautiful. It's so hard to lose a pet. It seems like all the BTS members really love their pets and other animals, which shows how kind they are.

Like me, Jin doesn’t socialize often. He prefers simple things like playing video games and fishing. He has very close bonds with his pets. The loss of my dog was horrific because she had been with me every day for 15 years. So this song hits hard.
