Actually ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ: ON) from Phoenix, AZ makes all Alexas sensors, from the original ALEV III to the new ALEV IV. Of course ARRI were involved in the design and color science. Then ARRI takes those beautiful wafers and builds Alexas :)

This is very cool. I worked at an Arri rental house in San Francisco back in the BL IV era. I was an accessory tech, meaning I cleaned filters and wiped down follow focus rings. 😅 I was the guy that fetched accessories for the ACs prepping cameras. Then I went to work in grip and lighting.

No one gonna buy their camera if their quality is not the best, ARRI cameras are more expensive than RED. A single Alexa 35 cost 70000$ usd.
But you get what you paid for. Great to see a look behind the curtains.

There are many camera expert out there, but Dr. Potato really can represents the way we would react in that environment.
This is just gold, need more of this. Honestly i wouldnt mind watching a whole uncut version, even if it meant it was 6hrs or more.
