    🌸I finally tried some picotee Ranunculus last year for the first time. 💮 I was so smitten with these beauties. In the time it took me to get an ice tea, a deer munched every single one of the blooms off and chomped my heucheras down to the dirt. I think both plants will be resurrected this spring, 🌺 no worries. I learn so much from your channel. You have been such a huge inspiration to me!🦋

    Thank you very much for the video, I have learnt so much about each "subtype" of ranunculus from it. Gosh I was so confused in the beginning. ;-)
    Very hard to find a video that actually matches the name with the real flower (marketing photos don't count unfortunately, I found lots of repeats)
    I bought a bunch of tecolote (telecote, duh!) corms, but wish I had seen your video first. Oh well, I'm happy to try them out first before getting the fancier Amandine and Clone/Cloni/Clooney... duh!

  • @MsJay0913
    @MsJay0913 Před 3 lety

    Very pretty flowers! The super greens look like succulents! :D
    It's interesting the color differences you're having with various flowers.. It would be pretty cool to find out if environmental factors made a difference.. I remember Laura on Garden Answer showing something (may have been a hydrangea) that noted on the tag that it could be 2 different colors depending on your soil's PH... I would be curious to know if ranunculus are that way..
    Where I'm considering planting some, they would be very visible, so I certainly wouldn't be too happy about planting salmon and getting orange. Hahaha

    So many of mine have been lost to root rot. I don’t know why mine are so sensitive to being watered! The few I neglected are thriving but now I’m afraid to water them at all. I’m so sad about the plants I lost…so many potential flowers gone :( I don’t know why root rot affected mine so badly! I had them in small pots to start, they never made it to flowering

    • @TONYAwiththeflowers

      I overwintered all of mine. But the flowers were tiny. When they fully opened they weren't even big. The leafs were really yellow too. Not green or healthy looking ether.

    When does floret stock their ranunculus?

  • @NatalyaBerezneva
    @NatalyaBerezneva Před 3 lety

    Every time I go to Floret website- everything is sold out. I start having suspicions that only you tubers flower farmers being able to place and receive their orders. Just my thoughts, I have been watching floret site for almost one year

    • @TONYAwiththeflowers
      @TONYAwiththeflowers  Před 3 lety

      In the fall, she posts the date that the shop will open on her website - usually at the beginning of October. It sells out VERY fast. Last year, I tried to buy some seeds and they had already sold out within minutes of the store opening for orders.

  • @ambethk77
    @ambethk77 Před 3 lety

    Question: I'm in 7b and got a really late spring blooming anemone corm delivery. Will the corms be all right if I simply store them until the fall? (I know this is on ranunculus video but I figured this would be the best place to ask the question since it's your current video. lol)

    • @TONYAwiththeflowers
      @TONYAwiththeflowers  Před 3 lety

      I've never tried to store them that long, but it might work. I would make certain to check them in storage to make sure that they aren't shriveling or going moldy. Good luck!

  • @Flowerfreak72
