I use the rope from a clothesline, too.
I also tie the rope to the plug with the male connector so that I won't lose my rope.

Your basic idea of making coil slings is good. However there's room for improvement. Learn the over under technique of coiling, it will keep your cords and hoses straight. The way you are doing in now is going to twist and distort your cords and hoses. Ever deploy a coil and it's twisted and kinking, that's why. Take time and learn better knot craft. Rope is everywhere and can be used for all sorts of things, the better you know how to use it, the better it will serve you. Back the camera up a bit or get wider angle lens.
Keep shooting videos, next one will be better.
Why don't you make your own videos, call them "I'm so annoying". Then your obvious vast knowledge about everything can be on CZcams for all eternity.

By the way donk!... a velcro strap installed on the male end is always with the cord and serves as the loose string you use, of course you could install the loose string on the male end!...
and you wrapped your cord all twisted... never did the over/under... damm you fall short of an A! I give you E for effort!
