@@vidhyakulat519 okay! There are some conditions like car should be in neutral, handbrake should be engaged till 7 levels and car should be locked.

I have recently purchased Kia Caren Turbo Engine - Petrol.
Would like to understand whether the below phenomenon are a regular ones or not.:
a] On initial ignition of engine, RPM goes directly to 1.2 - 1.3 and stays there for one minute before descending to 0.7 RPM (note that the car is at standstill at this point in time)..
Like to know is this a regular phenomenon?
b] On Instrumental Cluster, the reading of outside temperature generally varries between 45 C and upwards noticed before stopping the engine.
Like to know, whether this is feasible and appropriate fact?
c] After having driven the car in Mumbai city for around 1100 km including a long drive to Lonavala, got an average of only 5 to 7 km. in the city (excluding Lonavala trip).
Would like to know whether this number is resonable. Am personally not comfortable with these numbers. How can these be improved upon?
I write to you to know whether above noted number are representative of some grave issues in the car or not.
Do, note that my first service was done on completion of one month and Odometer reading was around 700 km then.

a] This is normal, it's a cold start. The engine oil is cool & it needs to be at certain temprature to give efficient performance, so your car does that for you.
b] Note tempratur on instrumental cluster may have some errors, but if you think there is huge difference with actual temp, show it in workshop.
c] What you are getting is very low, it should be around 13-15 in city. don't trust the average shown in instrumental cluster & try to calculate it by yourself once, so that you know where the actual problem is.
It also depends on your driving style, roads & some other factors.

If you go for the 3rd varient Prestige +, jiski demand zada hai... Wo apko petrol mein hoga 1555635 on road, extended warranty nd accessories daal kar 1598559. Ye manual hai. Same varient jo petrol DCT hai wo around 1 lac extra. Prestige+ mein if you go for diesel.. that will be 1577744 on road manual. Extended warranty nd accessories daal kar 1623323. I think ess varient ka diesel automatic nahi hai.

Seltos came with 360 cam, why carens do not have that?
I think because it is 50k cheaper and is a bigger car with more seats and space, bigger air purifier and bigger wireless charger. You have to make some compromise. It also does not have the heads up display and electric moveable seats like seltos.

Top model toh on road price 22.5 lakhs hai utna dhaam mai toh Scorpio-N Z8, XUV 700 AX5, Safari Pure and Harrier Pure plus jaisa itna accha accha SUV'S milraha hai toh essa mai koun Kia carens jaisa gadi lega.
