I like that it's a Quick n Dirty Vid. It's Great for those who know what they're doing. For me, I need to kno about the Donut (?) Flange? My Toy 2003 Cor muff separated from the pipe flange n all. Just like in your Vid. Yet my Muff n it's connector, does not need to be replaced. I just need to repair that same area, pipe flange, as in your video. A) By removing the old donut bolts n connector, from the end of the muff. B) Installing a new donut flange onto the old exhuast pipe. C) Then re-connecting the two, together again. I will look to see, if you posted links to those parts, shown in your video. Especially that enhaust donut. My muff donut looks fine.. I Wish, I had a place with a car lift, to do all this with. Since I do not. I will have to shimmy under the car and do ti. That's PITA OT. time (&^%@) ! Thx for the Vid. Do U or anyone have any tips on what I am looking to do ?
hi there, my 2010 toyota corolla S the pipe which connects the muffler is broken. should i change the whole exhaust assembly or just the muffler? any website from i can but the part?
Mine doesn’t have muffler it was taken off but on the exhaust there’s still 2 things left which I assume one is the catalytic converter and the other one a resonator?
I can't believe the exhaust is supported only by those rubber things on a Toyota Corolla. I had my exhaust replaced on my 2017 Corolla and now it hits against something--presumably the bottom of the chassis--every time I driver over a bump.
The cause of the noise I was hearing was that mechanic didn't bother to install new exhaust hangers, and they installed one broken hanger, he just slid the hook part coming off exhaust right through the center of the broken hanger and called it a day.
Mine doesn't have any separate nuts on the muffler side, even on my replacement, the nuts appear to be welded onto the flange, how hard was it for you to get the old exhaust donut off? Im having a whale of a time with mine. Thanks
hello Mike it was a little time consuming and a pain i used a flat head screwdriver and hammer worked my way around the flange then sanded it a little bit with coarse sand paper once you have it out the donut will be a little tight to put in place i tapped it with a wood little block from the flat edge after it was in i put some right stuff silocone and it worked out well don`t give up keep at it you can do it
2004 wow glad my muffler lasted 200k. the weld at the flange on muffler was rotting out. Tanks for the vid

wait till you find out this is how it's done on basically every single front engine car ever made
