Great video. Great memories of when I was a child living in Edinburgh and going on my holidays with my folks every year to Arran. We went exactly the same way as you.
Now I live in Las Vegas and u still to this day go back to Arran at every opportunity, I take my kids because it's one of the most beautiful islands in the world and my kids absolutely love it as I did

@StayingLocal Arran is truly an island that you can go to for two nights and feel like you've been there for two weeks.
It's a very special place for me and everyone I've ever taken there feels exactly the same way.
I'm glad you enjoyed my island as I call it....I may still even now.... retire there
