I find it funny when people who recall meeting Michael always imitate his voice very soft and high... when in reality, his voice was probably lower than mine and many other's.
He didn't change his voice into a very high one, the lipsync just started up again. See, MJ lipsynced this song except for the part where he talks in his deep voice
@iamthechampiion The reason he went from a deep voice to the high pitched voice was because during the speaking part MJ was actually talking live, but when it went to the high pitched voice it was switching to the playback. He couldnt sing anything but a song or two live because he had bronchitis during this tour (History Tour) So he had to lip sync most of the concert except for i believe he sang Jam live.

All the tones of voice Michael speaks in are real. He had to trouble getting really low and no problem getting his voice high. He didn't do the soft voice to sound innocent. That was probably the easiest tone to speak in.
