I wish I could somehow scan all the planets in the universe that have humanoid activity and take from them their best gadgets and inventions and put them in a fat catalog with explanations of what they do. I would guess that there'd actually be a few perpetual motion machines among them.
If you had a device that could scan every planet and detect human activities and steal their gadgets. I'm sure you would have a much better device than what you're stealing.

The first one is simply strobing the LED's at a rate that makes the droplets look like they're going up instead of down....
