Whomever thumbs downed this doesn't know friendship. Mickey was a defensive genius and Bobby was a genius of knowing people and giving back on the field and in the community. Tally and FSU, we're changed by his presence and his heart!!! You will be missed and celebrated more than you can ever imagine.

I grew up in Tallahassee. I bleed Garnet and Gold. I am so happy I got to grow up watching Florida State Football under Bobby Bowden. He wasn't just a Legendary Coach. He touched so many lives and was a Father to so many young men that came through that program. There will never be another like him. RIP Coach.
I always respected bobby. He was of the finest sort a Christian man. And A great coach on,and off the field , very few of any can say that about other coaches. Or people in general.

Coach Bobby Bowden is Florida state university and he's walking in glory
Bowden is the best to ever do it idc what anyone says. His mark on college football in wins the lives and programs he touched nationwide will never be matched. Saban has won more but Saban has had the luxury of playing in a day and age where he has one of the only tough programs out there. Bowden figured out how to do what most people in leadership struggle to do and that is to win at a high level,demanding excellence from his peers and players all while being kind and gracious. Your the best coach B!

I remember Bobby be on the sideline watching the game and if something started to go wrong on offense you see Bobby get on the head set. Next drive FSU would go down and score a touchdown. Bobby was a genius and what was best about Bobby was is willingness to let his coaches coach and do the job. Bobby was there for support and to be a helping hand. Bobby Bowden is what a head coach is suppose to be. Without the ANGER and yelling like Nick Saban. THIS COMING FROM A KID WHO USE TO HATE HIM... His teams beat my Gators so many times. IT TAKES GREAT MEN TO MAKE GREATEST POSSIBLE. When you talk about coaches like Tom Osborne and Bobby Bowden, coaches today can't compare to these 2.

Hopefully FSU football can get back on track and follow this legacy of faith, family and football. They need to become mentally tough through pushing the limits that Coach Andrews talked about here.
Yeah I'm really going to miss coach too I can say he was a very nice caring coach and I always like listening to him talk he's always so positive too rest up coach you made it to the championship in heaven 🙏🏾🏈

why are there 3 dislikes on this , I will not disrespect the man , as a Gator fan he was one of the greatest coaches there was I will say yes Florida State dominated us Gators in the 90's but Coach Bowden always had a great attitude stayed positive , I do remember one of the worst games the Gators ever played against Florida State was 1994 aka the choke at Doak the Gators had it in the bag going in the 4th quarter 31-3 & some one interviewed coach Bowden before the 4th qtr started & he said some things about what was going & that lit a fire under FSU's ass & they came back with 4 touchdowns & the game ended in a tie , i was pissed though & then we had that game against them on New years night in 1995 dubbed the 5th quarter in the French quarters & Florida State won that game & again I was pissed but I look back & Coach Bowden YOUR THE MAN , & now your home with Jesus , see you soon
Yep. As Coach Mickey pointed out there is so much more to life than just a football game.
He was a GREAT COACH AND A GREAT CHRISTIAN MAN and COACH ANDREWS IS A GREAT COACH AND A GREAT MAN. COACH BOWDEN TAUGHT EVERYONE THE 3FS FAITH FAMILY AND FOOTBALL IN THAT ORDER. IT IS SAD TO SEE HIM GO BUT I KNOW I WILL MEET HIM ONE FINE DAY IN HEAVEN.
Amazing celebration of of Bobby's life!! Mickey, you two made a terrific team and I know you will miss him. Thank you and the entire group that told the real story of Bobby's character. I have watched the service several times and continue to learn much more about the person he was/is. He inspiration will never leave myself. God bless the Bowden family and thanks again Mickey and all the contributors to this great MAN.

He made FSU a powerhouse when there were no other teams that could even contend with FSU. They looked like a pro team. I said no one will beat them until every team in the country became similar to FSU, and I was right, way back then.
