- Hey, lovely soul! We're going to learn mosaic knitting today. It's easier than you think! This is a great knitting technique even if you're a beginner. Once you get the hang of the stitches and which ones to slip, you'll be golden. You only ever work with one strand of yarn per row so it's quite simple but the results are breathtaking.

Have not tried mosaic knitting before so keen to give this a try.
This is easier than it looks. Thank you for the demonstration. It is a gorgeous pattern. I will do it with a dk yarn because I cannot use Number one yarn. It hurts my hands but I will make it with a dk yarn.

Absolutely ❤️ this pattern!! It’s so fun to knit. I have a suggestion, when there is a repeat in a row that’s fairly challenging it would be helpful to show at least 2 of those on your swatch. Maybe make the swatch bigger?

Another stunning shawl! I'm thinking of taking inspiration from the Alhambra in Spain! Alas, my shoulder is still inflamed and I can't do anything for another 4 to 8 weeks. With the changing of color yarns, how do you treat the initial added color? Do you weave them end once finished or double strand them into the row you are working on so you don’t have to weave them in when you finish the project?
Linda, great question. I would just weave them in when finished. :)
The shawl looks like there are 5 different colors, but the kit has 3 colors. Silly question, how do you get them to show 5? Are there extra colors to get as add-ons? Beautiful shawl!!
Hi there, glad you like the pattern. The shawl is made with only 3 colors but since there 2 sections that alternate two colors, respectively it looks like there are 5.

How do you know right side from wrong side
Connie, you can put a stitch marker or safety pin on the front of the shawl so you always know when you're on the right side. :)
