Hi can you please tell me how to put 50 inch tcl roku tv model 50s455 in service mode i replaced shorted backlight diode but the lightis is not turning on.
If you include circuit diagram of some of this TV or at least explain the working principal then your numerous videos will start making much sense. You can start with power smps, you can explain the rectification section, then to high frequency pwm oscillation {Main winding, axicillary winding and several secondary windings} to the secondary rectification and so on. Next you can focus on LED driver circuits and so much more.
It is good to know that there are those unselfish tech vloggers who give us hints or ideas where to look at first or section need to be tested and so on. For us newbies that'll be a huge favor coming from them. Thanks a lot sir!!!
Because this board included the power supply. Some of the tvs has a power supply board, a main board, a T-CON board etc. This one has a combined board, called hybrid board.
After repairing the board instead of the fuse, you connected a resistor to the fuse to test the short circuit and connected the board to the electricity, how will you know if there is a short circuit
@@protection4541 If there is a short circuit. I detected it at an earlier time. If the PWM is defective, it will cause the MOSFET to get short during the testing time, and it will cause the fuse to get blown or explode to other components. I am not detecting the short circuit by the resistor, it is for safety. if there is a short. there will be no 12-volt output, and I stop from fluging it.
Only standby light for me. And just my luck thermal camera shows CPU heats up in corner. Why unlucky all the time. How many times do you get a fail like CPU or firmware chip burn you can't repair. I'm on about 40pc.
Thanks Mr Tevs. Maybe a stupid question, but why do you think the fuse blew? Did the burned capacitor create a short to ground? I thought those blue capacitors were supposed to always blow open circuit. Hope my question makes sense. Take care my friend.
Yes, it is partially short to the ground, that's why it's burnt. Sometimes the fuse doesn't blow up because the capacitor first blows open. It makes sense. Take care too my friend.
Very nice .
Still here, watching your amazing tutorial videos!
Muy buen video y mejor explicación muchas gracias por sus conocimientos.
Keep up mr Tevz your videos are the best thanx
Resp Sir! How are U..? Very Nice Class Sir. Thank U. -- ChinnaRao Paderu Andhrapradesh
Im ok, Thanks

Connecting a cap between the source and drain of mosfet avoids sparks

It takes many hours to make it. It is not easy to create content like that.
Like some videos. Don't fix.but do them explaining what u have just fixed previously. Telling the cause. The approach and etc. So that it be short
Thanks sir

a few moment later : thank you
Unstable falling down of voltage indicates short circuit

Mosfet and transformer both have dry joints ..why didnt you solder the dry joints?
Good work 👍.
Can I use 10w 220ohm resistor. To discharge high voltage capacitor.
I can't find 20w 220ohm resistor.
They don't have it here
Yes you can
@@tevzTVTevatronics thank you so much sir. Have a bless day
Wats that u use to avoid blast?can't I use a 100W bulb?
Hi dear tevz.
It was a nice job
Bat why did you called the mane board
Hybrid board ? What does it mean?
Thanks a lot.

This one has a combined board, called hybrid board.
Thank u tevz for replaying.
@@sarockpashotan Don't mention it!👍

I'm interested and I want to learn more, can you help me please.
Hello. The resistance that you put in series to test for short circuit, how do you know if it is short circuit or not
I dont get what you mean.

@@tevzTVTevatronics Thankyou. 😀
If that fuse was good. Then why replace it ????
fuse was blown
With my luck it would have had much more damage.
