    80's TYSON... One of the greatest boxing fighting machines ever...And Cus D'mato, Kevin Rooney, Teddy Atlas, Jimmy Jacobs, Bill Cayton were part of the reasons why...When he left that team, and joined Don KIng,he lost his elusiveness, and became just an ordinary very good fighter...But not undefeatable and definitely no longer a great fighter...TYSON 80's - One of the greatest boxing fighting machines EVER!!!! Rest in peace Cus D'mato... :)

      Exactly. Cus D’Amato is quoted a saying so himself. Tyson lived with Cus during his rise to become champion. He trained constantly. When they weren’t physically training, they were analyzing great boxers, talking about boxing, or working on the psychological aspects of becoming a champion. Not many other boxers have the opportunity to train like that. He was great because he trained harder than everyone else and because he had a genious for a mentor and trainer

    they say Cus had lost some spark/vigor then Mike came along and his life seemed to be troubled to say the least.wow the world wasn't ready for the machine Cus unloaded on the world.they needed each other,history has told us that.I was 22 in MikeTysons prime,and my father was a huge Ali fan.after a few years dad said that Tyson had too much power for too long of time during thematch.who Ali couldnot beat ,he let them play themselves out,then win the last halfofthe fight,,

    hey man i love this upload... r u the one who uploaded a tyson documentary recently about a week ago? i swear man, i was looking all through google to find some kind of documentary on Cus but there isn't any. Not even one decent interview. Do you think someone is trying to hide Cus. Sure no one will ever get rid of his memory but what about videos and footage of him? I'm barely learning about Cus but what I've learned so far is that he's the greatest mind boxing ever created even better than ali

    Tyson vs Ali - Result :Ali would have won the fight before they even stepped in to the ring. Remember that apart from his exceptional boxing skills Ali was the master of psychological intimidation. No one ever got to Tyson mentally because no one dared to. Apart from that the deciding factor would be footwork and speed of jab. Ali's footwork was v. fast and skilful coupled with his blinding hand speed he would have been too much for Tyson. Tyson never boxed on his toes - he would always walk in to his opponents. Even Tyson himself - all credit to his great honesty - admitted that Ali would have been too fast for him and his constant lightning jabs would have worn him down. The boxer most resembling Ali's style that Tyson fought was James 'Quick' Tillis. Tyson could not knock him out and he went the distance. Tillis probably represented at the most a 40% fit Ali in that fight. Imagine what a 100% fit Ali could have done. I really like Tyson he is truly a one off phenomenal boxer - never to be repeated just as there will never be another Ali. They both had their strengths and weaknesses. Tyson's style was one that required a lot of physical effort, speed, focus and sustained onslaught to be effective. It's not possible to keep up with that level of physical performance for more than 5-7 years of a boxers career in my opinion. This is the real reason why Tyson could not retain that aura of invincibility beyond 1990. His personal problems and lack of a truly supportive team contributed to his decline in his boxing skills.

      @txroye Před 9 lety +2

      Ali would have been knocked out quickly. Ali and his lame intimidation would have resulted in him getting an even bigger beating.

      +CuTThRoaTT G You are right. Not only was Ali a better heavyweight than Tyson, Foreman probably was too. I like Tyson, but the idea that he was this mythical champ is a joke. He was not Joe Louis, he was not Rocky Marciano, he was not Muhammed Ali. I am not sure he was Joe Frazier. Is what it comes down to is he did not fight quality opponents during his reign of terror. He fought some during his reign of inequity... and he lost.

    A true legend that fought nobodies and when confronted with someone with talent, he lost. He was knocked out 7 times.And we have a million excuses about Tyson. I never hear excuses about Ali, Foreman..when did you ever hear George Foreman get excused for losing. Tyson was just not that good. He fought stiffs coming up and beat Trevor Berbick and Micheal Spinks and a Holmes that had fought 7 strait years as champ, No way does he beat Holmes in his prime. A worn Holyfield kicked his ass twice,.lennox Levis destroyed him. Give me some excuses on why he lost and Foreman was kicking ass in his 40's.

      @fredscaboda4617 Před 9 lety

      Sure, anyone that was any good....he lost.A true legend doesn't get ko'd 7 times. You know zero about boxing. Tyson is a common street thug that got lucky. And when the going got tough he got KO'd. It's that simple. Your pathetic opinion does not change facts.

    Ali would win Tyson always had trouble with taller fighters even though he would feed off jabs he never faced a fast jabbing fighter and won also Ali had one helluva a chin and heart it would be a good fight
