Adding Custom Wallpaper on the Screen for Honda Accord 2018-2020

- This video shows how to personalize your own wallpaper on the screen for the Honda Accord 2018-2019.
These are the essential steps to get it to work:
1. Must have a USB memory drive with at least 8GB. Some recommend 16-32GB.
2. Memory drive must be formatted in FAT32 file system.
3. All pictures you want to use as wallpaper must be loaded on the root of the memory drive.
4. All images must be set to 1920x936 resolution so it that it looks perfect on the screen. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

Thanks for showing us how to do this! Just another way to personalize my car! (2018 Accord) but quick question, I downloaded a few images onto my usb but the car is not showing them for import, only one is available. I double checked and they are all .jpg so I’m confused. Any tips?
Do them one at a time and ensure it follows the correct resolution.

That 1920 X 936 doesn’t fill my whole screen for some reason. Anybody know anything that can help ?
Has anyone bee able to do this using a macbook air? Image is jpeg usb drive is fat32 format. I do the 1930x936 resolution and when i insert usb on the car it says “no files detected, please confirm a usb device is connected and that jpg/bmp files exist in the root directory” idk what this means.

Hello, i have a great question. When you put your car on sport (if you do) when do you shift on the paddles, at what rpm. Cuz i started to go nuts on it and shifting at 4 and a half and now the valve gasket is leaking......lame
I hardly do paddle shifting. The ECU does a better job

Neither does the resonator since there is no sensor there.

I have a 2013 Honda piolot and mine says retry connection when I insert my usb anybody knows what could be wrong?
Try different USB drive?
Additional steps as i spent bit of time on this
1. USB Drive must be FAT32 system format
2. pic resolution must not bigger than 1920x936 (or can be slightly bigger i'm not sure)
3. If you have alot of files on that USB Drive it may take sometime to load it up... so best to get an empty/less occupied USB to do this
4. make sure your first picture in sorting order - Files name or first created files as long in sorting on top have the right resolutions, i'm not sure why this is happening and seems like it will not take other jpg files if your first ever file that radio detected its not fit then it will not load others... i accidentally found this as i have all my files with oversized and i just rename all as 1.jpg 2.jpg... and i changed the first files then all other accepted format files came out.
Obviouly honda HU have alot of bug and lucky for US folks as they contantly updating the firmware or software of it... not so sure about in other countries tho....

I dont have a computer but I do have a type C connector with a usb plug. I copied a picture to a file to my USB. Do you think that it will work like that or do I need a computer.

Yo, I'm making sure the pics I want to upload are formatted correctly but only a select few are popping up on car play and its always the same exact pics. Is there a limit to the number of pics that the car accepts or is there some step I'm missing with the particular pictures i want to upload?
I believe there is a limitation. However the screen should see all pics. Maybe try deleting the ones you imported in the screen and only put the ones not seen?

Not working for my 21 accord
I have a 2018 Honda Accord without touch screen. I have followed all the steps but the import option stays greyed out. Any solutions?
Not sure the difference. Maybe try another drive? Greyed out means it's not recognizing the drive.

@@johnwillson1264 I just spent a long time today trying to figure out the NFC transfer and it sounds like you have to have an older version of Android that supports Android Beam since they removed that in Android 11.

Ensure to follow the steps and settings. Also try another drive since sometimes it may not work with certain brands.

You have the correct file system, formatted correctly, correct file size, correct file type, and everything I mentioned in the video and description details?

If your usb isn't formatted in fat 32 it will not recognize it.
It will say not in root directory

Chances are you either have too many folders, there is no JPG files on the main directory, or the drive is not compatible or formatted to the right file system.
BoostedWhipz i’m so confused bc it’s a 16gb usb brand new, the only things i have on it is the pics that i’d wanna use in the car. granted there’s like 16 pics i have on there for the car lol. also the one thing that i can’t figure out is how to save it to the ‘root’ idk if i did that or what that means or how to do that pls help 😫
@@Sekkzc try just leaving 2 or 3 images on that drive and try again. Having too many files causes the car to not read them. "Root" is just another term for main directory. Meaning outside of folders.
