How to access HIDDEN WEB BROWSER in 10th Gen Accord (2018 and later EX/EXL/Touring 1.5T/2.0T/Hybrid)

Steps in case the forum post disappears:
- Go to ngabbs.com/read.php?tid=17718611 and download the rar file at the bottom of the first post (or from my mirror here: drive.google.com/file/d/108Qs... )
- open it with Winrar or 7zip (PC) or The Unarchiver (MAC)
- extract the .ab file to a thumb drive
- plug in to car usb port
- with car on, hold Home, Volume and Source to bring up diag menu
- press bottom option, then Functional Setup, Save User Memory, then Import
- press yes to the popup that shows up
- wait for headunit to reboot, then swipe over to second page and select Hondalink icon with Chinese writing under it (as shown in the video itll eventually have the proper icons and english text after another reboot)

Tried this on a 2021 accord sport 1.5t and followed step by step. Everything worked perfectly and am able to watch youtube videos no problem. (While only in park mode) 🤫 June 13th 2022

You can allow it while moving. Enter the hidden menu again, click the bottom option, then hold down the "home" button for 5 seconds. it will open another menu. I think its the 2nd option, something like vehicle information. Find "DD VSP" and turn it off. Then all functions are unlocked while driving. It resets everytime you turn it off though, so youll have to do it again.

You can edit the apps you want shown on your main screen by simply holdin on app, it will allow you to add or remove apps.

@@HiddenDevils Im not prefer to try this on 10th Gen Accord ! I faced a problem after trying to install honda hack, After few days my screen is completely dead even the backlights behind buttons won’t work!!! I went to maintenance and they fixed the issue. So if you tried this i suggest to reset factory before this problem appears

This Works on my 2019 Honda Accord but it’s super buggy,
CarPlay isn’t working well, I have to hold the Engine start so it can reset the radio, I never made a back up to my files so I can’t go back to factory, unless some one has a default factory file. (Waze, Lyft Driver, Spotify doesn’t work)
If there’s an update to fix it please link to me.
Works on my 2022 head unit. Wireless seems to still be ok, my icon is still stuck in Chinese though, not sure why

The thing that I'm very confused about is that is it a completely new image that you're putting on the radio, similar to a Windows image that has everything installed already, because if I do this I don't want to lose any of the basic car features as I noticed when you first brought it up it was in chinese, I just want to make sure there's no downside to this??

Can u make a video on how smooth the hdmi works like if I had hdmi adapter from my phone to connect to my phone and USB port to the car would it be able to play hulu and Netflix and excetra it would be pretty cool then I wouldn't need to use hot spot and it basically mirror my phone to the car ??please make a vidoe on this if I have time ND the stuff I would do it
From the pics ive seen of the back of the headunits, I dont believe it has an hdmi port here in the US at least, although it might in the accords sold over in China or Japan.

I'd say try formatting the USB drive to fat32 if it isn't already, then copy the file over to it again and see if it works. Windows usually defaults formats to NTFS which is a Microsoft filesystem. Android can read it but permissions can have issues with it.
If I do this, does the carplay remain without effect?
Yeah that shouldnt be affected, although my current phone is an S22 ultra so ive only been using Android auto thus far. But generally speaking if one works the other will as well
Hey momo I just did this it does affect CarPlay every time I tried to connect it it shows black screen
What about applications such as Netflix and IPTV?
Not sure as the browser would always crash trying to download any files including apk installer files sadly

That comes with most vehicles that are Hybrid/Plug-in Hybrid Powertrains, it shows whether the car is running off the battery or the engine, and also Regen braking

Just go to settings and reset to factory, it will erase the file and go back to stock

No, that's a 9th gen that uses an older style head unit. You can do the "hondahack" root method though! I reccomend giving that a Google and watching a few tutorials, it should give you wayyy more apps and customizations than any hack I know of for the 10th gen android head units

@@UniversalTechnics no this exploit is for 2018-2022 accords specifically, but your civic is a 10th gen so you can use the "Autohack" root (can't post links in comments these days but if you look it up the official website for it should be Autohack(dot)org
@@empedance1933 I have tried to connect built in WiFi with local area network and hotspot but tere is no connection data.... I don't know why... Browser haven't been able to load google or CZcams. Is there any solution. Thanks!

Ah sorry man that sucks, all I can really suggest is doing a factory reset on the head unit to bring it back to stock. Were there any new updates pushed out to your car recently? I wonder if they changed something that fiddles with this mod
@@empedance1933 It is back to work! I just changed the input USB on my car from USB1 to USB2 and it is working again , but I can't open browser and Carplay at the same time ,maybe this would help other. Thanks
