There is a reason Orochimaru started doing as Sasuke asked, and it goes back to his original motivation: he wanted to know every jutsu ever and become a perfect being. Kabuto achieved this in a way that satisfied Orochimaru's curiosity. He saw it was a dead end, so has no motivation to continue the quest. Since he has no purpose anymore, he decided to see where Sasuke's path leads. He isn't a Good Guy, he's just bored and curious

Kabuto obtaining Sage Mode and evolving from a snake to a dragon is genuinely one of my favorite moments in the series. Very underrated villain in the series imo.

The sad part is that the games do not show Madara's motivations. As the first hokage Hashirama said, their clans (Uchiha and Senju) were rivals, and a lot of people (children included), died in battle. Madara and Hashirama had both lost every single one of their respective brethren, with the exception of one little brother each. Thing is, when Hashirama and Madara were children, they became close friends and envisioned a village where no one would have to die, and where peace was possible. However, when they grew up they became the leaders of their respective clans, which were so used to fighting each other that it was impossible to bring them to stop, so the fighting continued. Madara had a little brother, Izuna, and he loved him as much as Itachi loved Sasuke. In one of the final clashes between both clans, Izuna was killed in battle by Tobirama (Hashirama's little brother, who would eventualmy become the second hokage). Soon after, Madara and Hashirama, as leaders of their clans, finally managed to convince their clans to end the fighting, and thus, the Hidden Leaf Village was born (fun fact, Madara named the village). However, due to the long conflict between both clans, Madara feared that the Uchiha would be eventually outcasted. He tried to convince his clan to leave the village in order to save it, but every Uchiha turned their back on Madara. Madara, having lost the one person he wanted to protect (his little brother) and being refused by the clan he sacrified everything to, decided to leave the village. Hashirama tried to talk him out of leaving, but Madara was convinced that Hashirama's peace was not perfect and that it would not last, so he planned a way to attain true everlasting peace. Peace through total domination, trapping every person in an ilusion where everyone would see their goals fulfilled, thus ending all conflict for good. Madara then set out of the village in order to put his plan in motion (capturing the tailed beasts as you have already seen Tobi do...etc). He first tamed the most powerful one (Kurama/Nine tails) and then went back to face the only ninja in the world who could potentially stop him, his best friend, Hashirama Senju, who now was the first hokage. Madara lost that battle as you know, but as you also know, he did not die.
Madara may appear as a jerk, but as you know, in the Naruto world, every villain has a "reason" for being the way they are (with maybe the exception of Danzo, but that is just because I hate his guts 😂). I just wanted you to know "Madara's side of the story". Think of him (with all the "buts" that this comparison may bring) as a kind of "Itachi who had lost his little brother"
everyone thinks danzo is a piece of shite(which is true) and thinks he is just evil for the sake of evil ain’t really true. He had to do the dirty works for the village like itachi. He is pretty much the feds(as he created the Anbus).
His brother which is the third hokage was always better than him at everything, relationships, talent, he was favored by the first and second hokage, he’s the golden boy. Ofc jealousy will sink in. Danzo wanted to prove himself and to his brother that he was sorta his equal. the ultimate dream would be to become the hokage no matter how he does it. But yea he doesn’t have much redeeming moments. Everyone mostly just knows him as the piece of shit who killed Shisui, also Sais brother or friend was it?
@@hearme1484 I don't think Danzo and Hiruzen are brothers. Danzo is from the Shimura clan, whereas Hiruzen is from the Sarutobi clan.
On the topic of Danzo's goals, I think you're right. He tried to protect the village in his own way. My problem with him is, not only that I consider his methods of doing it to be really wrong and twisted, but also that he really screwed everything he touched. For example, he butchered the peace treaty between Hanzo and Yahiko, thus leading to Yahiko's death, and with that to the formation of Pain and the evil Akatsuki, which would eventually attack the Hidden Leaf (and now that I recall it, I don't remember seeing Danzo in the attack). He also stopped Shisui from stopping the Uchiha coup because he did not trust a peaceful solution to the Uchiha uprising, so he ended up ordering the Uchiha massacre (It was him, not the third hokage, who did it. Hiruzen would learn of it afterwards), thus leading to Sasuke eventually learning the truth and, once again, putting the village in danger. He also supported Orochimaru's experiments and tried for him to become hokage instead of Minato. Orochimaru, who would later, again, attack the Hidden Leaf. Danzo also tried to have the third hokage killed on several ocassions, but failed every one of them.
I get that Danzo had his own idea of how to protect the village but, to my mind, his methods and results were always wrong and worse than the problems he tried to solve. Anyway, this is only a personal opinion. All in all, I agree that he is a cool character, wether he is interpreted as a good-willed antagonist or as a twisted antihero, and he shows the audience, as well as other characters in the show do, that not everything is black or white
@@franciscomartinlopez6916 Yeah, Danzo held firm to his beliefs which can be admirable (To a point) but seriously this guy was so stuck in darkness of the ninja world that he didnt believe there was any light or peace. See a problem? Kill it and leave no witnesses. Cant kill them? Indoctrinate them and kill their emotions, brainwash and torment them. Cant control them? Stand clear of them, makes subtle deals and try to force them against the light side of the Hidden Leaf and kill them all afterwards all to become the HOKAGE and protect the village. And also make every single possible problem for the leaf to deal with worse later on down the line.
All four Hokage standing on top of their own monument is so legendary. Can’t wait to see y’all reaction when they prove why their monuments are up there if not already.😅

The stories in Naruto really hits deep in the feels. Seeing Hashirama being an enlightening Hokage just speaks of his personality so much, his serious side is something you don’t want to push, Hashirama really worked being a Hokage so much.

48:30 there is a battle that happens in the game that is worth watching imo. idk why the creator of the video skipped over it. There is a video by "Storm Master" titled "Sasuke vs the first hokage boss battle" that shows that fight scene in english if you guys are interested.

Hashirama senju and madara uchiha is the best rivalry in the whole series…when you watch each hokage’s storytime,in the series it took so many episodes and then in the game it only took 15 minutes of explaining a power point presentation😂😂

@@AlexThat200 that can always change, I've been persuading them to start the OG series after the game cutscenes, plus they've said there's a big "might" check out the series.
The brilliance of Madara's Majestic Destroyer Flame jutsu is that it prompted the Alliance to respond with water (since fire is weak to water in the Narutoverse), and what do you get when water meets fire? Steam: a big old cloud of steam. Who can see through a fog like that? Madara can, and maybe only a handful of ninja in the Alliance army. It was a win/win for Madara: either the Alliance gets hit by the flame and many ninja die, or they counter it with water, giving Madara a giant cloud of fog to strike from.
I'm so fucking ready. You've no idea how epic the Itachi and Sasuke vs. Kabuto battle was in the game. It took me 2 hours to try to S Rank that battle, but goddammit was it worth it for those moments with Itachi. I'm sure the anime portrayed it so much better, but damn it the game did a fantastic job with that battle. I'm glad you kept catching on with the whole deja vu with Kabuto, I sure didn't because I was too caught up in the battle.
So, let me explain how the Hokages are back. In the Naruto anime when Orochimaru is attacking the village and tries to kill the 3rd Hokage, he reanimates the First and Secind Hokage, there is a third coffin rising but Hiruzen Sarutobi (The Third Hokage, or as the First calls him, Sarutobi. He's also Asuma's father) stops it, which we believed to be the 4th Hokage, Minato. When all looks lost, Hiruzen summons the Reaper Death Seal and Shadow Clones to seal away the First and Second Hokage, as he tries to seal away Orochimaru Hiruzen is gravely injured and can only take away Orochimaru's arms so he can't preform jutsus. After which the Reaper seals away and kill the Third Hokage. Now if you remember Minato also used the Reaper Death Seal to seal away half of the Nine Tails inside himself and Naruto. Which then causes his death and having himself sealed away as well. That's all 4 Hokages sealed within the Reaper, and Orochimaru just now opened that seal and here they are back from the dead.
You already know Hashirama, but now meet his younger brother, Tobirama. He's memed as the Racist Hokage, since he despises the Uchiha since the Senju and Uchiha are rivals. So, you can see why Tobirama wanted to body Sasuke when he mentioned he would destroy the Hidden Leaf.
Once again Gamer's Little Playground skipping entire fights and a QTE when fighting through Hokage. I know you've seen it before but didn't have the context, now you do but they just skipped it.
BTW, not sure if you got it but anyone with red hair is an Uzumaki, Naruto's mother, Kushina Uzumaki's clan. So, Karin is actually an aunt of Naruto, not saying she's Kushina's sister but they're from the same clan. And so was Nagato, now you know that Uzumaki's are known for their fiery red hairs. Naruto's is obviously blond because of Minato.
Man, not sure why GLP is skipping so much. Not like there were a ton of options for this video but I guess we could've done a bunch of different compilations of the games from different channels. Between this and skipping dialogue in our Genshin reaction videos, GLP is becoming less and less reliable 🤔

I know Sasuke is not a good Guy all in all, but i still cant help to like him along with Itachi. The two Brothers have such a tragic and interesting Storyline, it makes me want to root for them. Itachi pulling Sasuke in for a Hug and telling him he loves him, after only always pushin him away with this Fingers, is so touching and one of my favourite Moments in the Series! He was even holding his Fingers up, and as a viewer of the Series i think we were all kinda conditioned to expect him to tap them on Sasukes Hea, like he did when he was about to die. That made the Hugh even more emotional! >.
Thing about Madara is that he is not alive, so his Chakra is not limited in the same way it is for the living.
They explain this in the anime though I doubt they will in the game, think we've past that point already. Can't remember it's been a long time.
Though in saying that, they literally contradict this back & forth.

Fun fact about Itachi's given name: it means "weasel" in Japanese and his clan name is another way of pronouncing "uchiwa" which means "paper fan". So Itachi's full name translates to "paper fan weasel".
Kabuto is one of my favorites. His growth and search for identity is really good.

For the really final battle there is some fight dialogue that is cut out from the big video. It is included in the all cutscenes from ultimate ninja storm 4 from 8 years ago by gamers little playground. If you haven't already watched it I would recomend this video. There is some other fight dialogue cut but as far as I saw its not much that is really needed exept for the final battle. It will hit much harder if you watch this version.

The Orochimaru 180 doesnt make more sense in the manga/anime either.
Also the woman who was kidnapped by Kabuto is called Anko. She is a ninja from the leaf who used to be Orochimaru's apprentice when he was still in the village. Durimg the war, she went after Kabuto but unfortunately lost

Yeah he just kinda decided to back the good side without actually rehretting much of his really evil actions. In the present while sitll pretty unethical he is not as much of a complete monster and basically knows that if he steps out of line and isn't helping the good guys he will basically be put down like a dog by the two guys. Orochimaru is someone who lucked out even though he didn't really deserve it witch is intresting if unsatisfying.

This final part of the story has just about no fights in the plot so for gameplay sake they're making characters fight that never fought in the show at this point. Sasuke never fought Orochimaru after releasing him as he's long since surpassed him and that practice match between the Hokage and Sasuke's gang also never happened.
After the fight with Naruto and Obito last episode (which was also WAY different in the anime as Kakashi and Might Guy were a HUGE part of that fight, without Kakashi's tactical expertise and Guy's close-quarters skill in battle to tie up Obito, Naruto could never have taken on Obito alone especially before his power-up from Kurama) the setting doesn't change until the very end. Which is kinda my problem with the end of the show, in game it's paced fast enough that it's fine, but the show was like 50+ episodes of fighting in this non-descript wasteland up until the very end.
You should actually see the battle between sasuke and the kage. This battle was not in the anime, but please still watch this. It's kind like a mini boss battle.
Hm, yeah, i think now might be a good time to tell you,
In case you haven’t been told already, about Storm 3 when it first came out, it was while the War Arc was still ongoing in both the Anime and I think the Manga too, so i guess to avoid Ending the Game on a massive cliffhanger, they decided to make the Final Chapter of Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 be an entirely Game Original Variant of how the War ended.
So, when Storm 4 finally came out, they presented the Story in away that allowed them to cover the Canon Version of how the Final Part of the War Arc went, completely disregarding the Original Ending Storm 3 made, rather than following up where Storm 3 left off,
While I can understand why they went with the Route that they did, I still wish they could’ve been a little more curative with how they did Storm 4’s Story.

They skipped over a lot of the story that Hasihirama tells Sasuke about the history of the village and his connection to Madara. They also skipped over what the 2nd Hokage tells Sasuke about the Uciha and their eyes. :(

I recommend watching the anime version of the Hokage reviving. The game is missing some entertaining banter, particularly from Hashirama the 1st Hokage. Like him finding out Tsunade is the 5th Hokage or learning who Minato is

Interesting duck Raiden figure in the background. Also it's good to see anko again i though she was one of the more cooler characters from the series with great potential that was never explored like many other's...we learn she was orochimaru's student and they left it at that😅
The Orochimaru switch up is still a bit extreme and not a favorite move from the writers imo. But it makes sense with a bit more context however extreme. Pretty much since he was absorbed by Kabuto he's been watching Kabuto try and become these different things and ultimately fail. Plus at this point in the story Sasuke would beat Orochimaru so he's better off tagging along and seeing how Sasuke story pans out. Also Itachis voice actor is the same as the Destiny MC if you play as a male character.
The only reeeeal problem I have with experiencing the story through the Storm games….well aside from a lot of context missing, is the music. CyberConnect2 music just comes off kinda of bland at most times, especially compared to both Naruto anime. You miss a lot of the sauce that makes moments so impactful. That being said, Itachi is still the GOAT, and that feeling is still felt in this version. Him and Minato are the best. Not just for their talent and power, but for their hearts and loyalty to those they love.

They should have just watched the anime. The game cutscenes only provides little bits and pieces of the story. It's not complete at all.
