- In today's video I review the Morrison's Christmas Dinner Pizza, part of their Christmas food range.
When I saw this my first thoughts were that this is not the fusion Christmas food that the world needs, but I'll give it an honest chance to convince me! Just seems strange to have a pizza with pigs in blankets, stuffing and cranberry sauce!

That looked absolutely banging! I do love a pig in a blanket, and cheese is always good, mmmmm....
It really did surprise me how good it was. I think the key was the stuffing being mild in flavour. If it had been Paxo crumbled up with would have been too intense and ruined it.

Great idea with the leftovers! The pizza did look nice. Just need to make sure the sausages are spread evenly around lol!
We used to make a lot of homemade pizzas during lockdown, so seems like a good excuse to knock up some dough and do it again right! I would probably chop the pigs in blankets into smaller pieces (assuming there are any leftover of course!)
That looks rather good. For the money I think that is going to be popular. 🍕
I agree, they’re made (well assembled) in the store, and set on the fresh pizza counter. At 2 for a fiver people will grab one to try alongside their normal pepperoni or meat feast option I am sure.

I don’t mind the look of that. Swap the pizza base for two slices of bread and it’s just a warm version of supermarkets’ traditional Christmas sarnies 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah that’s true mate, but this tasted a lot better than most of the sarnies I have tried so far!

Just watched this Greeno, work has been busy! I really like the look of this, unfortunately my local Morrisons is small and I haven’t seen it in there tonight! Congratulations on the milestone again and keep the videos coming my friend! …. Smithy
I think it's only in the stores where they make their own fresh pizzas (well put the toppings on anyway!) - thanks for the congratulations too, much appreciated buddy!! Celebrated by ordering a new camera to come mid-Dec and a new laptop, hopefully improve the video quality... this hobby is never gonna pay for itself, keep spending before it's earned ha ha!

Ha ha, you’ll never fall out of love with it, it’s in your blood! There are times when it really tests you though that’s for sure 😂 BBC decided Alfreton is another potential banana skin huh, you navigated the last one ok though.
Well then! I‘m not sure I would enjoy this, but good to know there‘s decent Christmas food out there 😄
Yeah, it might be a very British pizza ha ha. Of course, the best Christmas food is the stuff you prepare at home to family recipes though :-)

@@lilesindiecorner we have my Dad joining us for Xmas lunch this year, so it will be the tradition British roast dinner, just with ALL of the added extras. I also cook a ham at Christmas, and a side of salmon. And there will be an extensive cheeseboard. Luckily the house across the street from me has a defibrilator if required!!

@@davidjones6470 makes you wonder how the likes of Domino’s make a living. Who’s spending out £20 on a pizza when you can have this for a fraction of the price, madness!

You could get 5 of these for £13. Although the way energy prices are at the moment it probably costs about a fiver to put the oven on to cook the thing!!

When I think of Christmas dinner I think of turkey right away and this doesn’t have any 😅 I hate cranberry sauce as well so it’s a no from me (ruined) 😂
Pretty much everything out there in the Christmas ranges has chicken rather than turkey, I guess it’s just cheaper to produce. Cranberry sauce is a strange one, like having jam on your roast dinner. For me it works but I can certainly understand those like yourself who aren’t so keen!
@@GreenoEats true and turkey would probably dry up fast. I hate anything sweet mixed with savoury I just can’t deal with it 😅

I'm kind of with you on the sweet and savoury thing, although some things just work for me. I like pineapple in Asian food and also on gammon :-)
