- We finally got the opportunity to drive the new Tata Altroz DCA (DCT) a kind of hybrid between a torque converter and a conventional dual-clutch transmission. The reason we say this is because one of its clutches uses planetary gearset, whereas it still uses two separately placed clutches instead of one inside the other. How did we find it, we tell you in this video along with a brief explanation of the technology.

I have naturally aspirated Altroz Manual Since 1.5 years and I can say it really looks good and fresh. For daily usage or to ride on highway the ride quality is awesome. Tata should introduce 1.5 litre engine with petrol with Altroz and then it will be top on the charts. Waiting to see it’s EV version too.
even after owning the car for 2 years, i havent become envious to any other car, its that beuatiful and sorted car design, yes this chasis need a much better engine but for the price, its good enough for usual indian run.
Tata is on its way to top sales charts...I hope they will improve their products and services with time...

I am planning to buy Tata Altroz DCA but i have come across a lot of people on web who say they are facing a lot of issues with the cars of tata and their issues are not getting resolved by the service centers. Keeping in view all these things should i go for a tata car.

i have altroz xz 1.2 manual and I have owned it for 1.5 year now for city i think altroz is a good option but if you want some fun with the car that's now possible it feels underpowered sometimes and a bit noisy something but my music system is always on so that's not a problem for me.moreover if you attain a certain speed like100-120 the stability is so good that you won't even feel that you are going in such a high speed.but surely as you mentioned your 80percent is city it's worth buying in my view.rest is upto you

altroz ki driving ka koi compare hi nai hai, 120 kmph ki speed pe b aisa lgta ki 70-80 ki speed hai , bht zadaa confidence rehta high speed pe b . yh sirf samjdar log hi smj skte hai , baaki shapri log toh teen ke dabe mai hi khush hai.

one thing i really miss in this car is, if this car come with 4 cylinder that make so crazy this car. only drawback is 3 cylinder. i request vikas sir to ask tata team management , in future they come with 4 cylinder or not.
They are coming with electric engine, which will literally put pants on fire...4 cylinder is most likely a far-fetched idea, because we are in a changing era right now, fossil fuel will become obsolete in coming years anyway.

DCA ia good but 0-100 time of 17+ seconds is just shameful..hopefully it gets to the iturbo, nexon etc..
