Gorgeous painting and a load of really useful tips to working with watercolour pencils. Never heard of the watercolour canvas boards until I started watching your channel so I am keen to get some and try it out. Many thanks for sharing 🙏
Glad it was helpful!

He's back!
Thanks David 😁
I'm so very glad you're back, you've been sorely missed! Your work amazes me! I love these tips!
Thank you so much!
I like tip number 1 about using video as a reference photo. At 30 frames per second one of them has to be good!
I need those odds. Especially with birds.
Really helpful video! Thank you! ❤ I had an epiphany with your tip about using a non-soluble pencil. For a long time I was always confused when people made videos for watercolor pencils but sketched in graphite first. I would think WHY? Why not just use a watercolor pencil?? Well, you hit the nail on the head and explained it for me 🤪. I don't know why that never occurred to me. 🤷♀️ 😂Great painting, great video!
I had the same thought. I like that I can erase graphite in the early sketching phases but I didn't like how graphite smears a little with the water. So now I do graphite first, then colored pencil or pen, then erase the graphite, then paint... or sometimes none of that! depends on my mood I suppose :)
Hey your back 🙂
It has been awhile hasn't it? 🌞
