  • This video shows how to replace both headlight assemblies on the 2009-2010 Mazda 6. Headlight assemblies were purchased from Amazon and I will provide the link below.

Another excellent video sir! Bought my son in college a 2010 6 and trying to get it all set before turning over to him. Took it out at night and headlights were so dim and virtually useless and dangerous. Figured out the silvering on the reflector was toast! I'm considering taking factory housings and doing a cerekote lens refinish and an HID projector install to fix. Those replacements are just too expensive. I'm going to try and do a video on my procedure as well.

Yeah these were really bad had to use the brights just to see. Not sure why these housings are so expensive maybe it’s because there’s not to many aftermarket companies making them. I’ll be curious to see how your come out.

Would this work for a 2016 Mazda?

Wait a minute! These headlights needed to be sanded down to restore them to new, I have the same car and year, mine were disgusting yellow heavy oxidation, I sure did not want to spend on new headlights plus the labor fees so I got them sanded down to take the oxidation with different grits paper and for final step used Meguiars Headlight Coating which is a UV protectant that makes the lights last new longer than a year. Just saying I saved a whole lot of money by doing this! But with each there own, it’s your money and time spent dismantling.
