Salute to unsung hundreds of my Thadou-Kuki ancestors from Manipur who fought in the MNF, like Pu Demkhosiek Gangte, Paosei Kipgen etc. for the land they never inherit. With many buried there itself. Nevertheless we fought for our brethren, who helps us in return in this trending violence against radicalised Meitei majority in Manipur. ZO Unity.. May it prosper.

A very inspiring story indeed, proud to know that we zo won such a great war and got independence. It was a war won by unity of the mizo chin kuki . Dear zo brothers we kukis need your help today,it may seem like a war with the odds against us but with God's blessing and our unity we can win this. For a greater Mizoram,a new Zoland 🇮🇳

Excellent coverage of the Struggle of the Mizo National Front And the MIZO people. The legacy of our leaders are second to none in the world for us. But if i may add that the northern mizos(kuki) who unfortunately are residing in the present day state of Manipur suffered no less than the Mizoram's Mizos, many laid down their lives for this cause and were also outstanding leaders in the MNF (eg. The Political Advisor, and a Major in the MNF-DEMKHOSIEK GANGTE who led a contingent of the MNF to China and even met with the then Supreme Leader of the People's Republic of China- General Mao) it would have been satisfying had they were mentioned in the coverage at least once! Nevertheless Its brilliant.

Mizo consist of several tribes like hmar, kuki, lushai, Lai, paite, mara, etc. Yeah! I can understand your possession, how pain would it be. And of course our leader( MNF) did some mistake for not recollecting your participation but it doesn't mean that we are not the same tribe, it's because of the request from the public and church that the MNF movement has ceased, people starved and got raped. Actually it's difficult to explain. Coz truth are simple and difficult to explain..still then we are one nation.

I respect the soldiers and all our Chin and Kuki brothers who have fought alongside us. I respect the MNA but I don't regard the leaders like Laldenga and Zoramthanga to be respected because of betraying the soldiers of the MNA who never wanted to cease fire and surrender and stop fighting for their people. Right now, I disgusts and despises these politicians very much who uses the name of the MNA soldiers only for their own vote banks. If all the Mizo National Army have been alive, they will never ever surrender to India and will always keep on fighting.

    • @adriangaming4853

Folks like you will always be beyond my understanding. Mizoram has the second highest per capita among all the Northeastern Indian states, has one of the highest HDI among all Indian states, is one of the most peaceful states in India and was ranked the most peaceful state in Northeastern India in 2018, with such a high literacy rate and despite all of this you glorify and dream of a violent insurgency phase which were undoubtedly one the darkest days of Mizoram!! You all glorify MNF militants so much, do you not think that Indians too love their soldiers who fought against the militants ? But are we ridiculing the Mizos and glorifying our soldiers out of jingoism ? NO. Laldenga and Zoramthanga are the reasons Mizoram is peaceful today. Typing random comments here won't make any difference, neither will showing online solidarity with Bangladeshis as you were doing in your earlier comment. MNF may have continued their fight, but they would have just kept on fighting and would have ultimately signed an accord just like most of the Northeastern militants group did. And Mizoram today would have been in a condition as pitiable as Nagaland.
