Thank you so much for your instructions on Shampoo and conditioner bars and body butters. At 64, I am beginning to make products for my own skin needs as well as family members, keeping "clean and green". Hopefully I will be able to sell some at our local Farmers Markets and Festivals to support this effort !
I just infused sunflower oil three ways. #1 Sunflower oil and coffee, #2 Sunflower oil Red Rose buds/lavender and #3 Sunflower oil and Chamomile/Calendula. I will be using them in my clay masks and scrubs for my winter line. However, I have to carry my coffe scrib and mask year round, people can't get enough of the stuff I love it too, does wonderful things to the skin! I wasn't sure how to do butters so I'm glad I subscribed! I'm learning alot, lol! Jill Gross
I heard of horse tail butter but wasn't sure whats it's all about. Thank you for explaining everything. I'm really interested in trying this for myself. Thank you so much 😊
Looking up this butter, if you look at the ingredients, they are made with hydrogenated vegetable oil. So you’re paying over $80 for Crisco and almond oil.
I just discovered your channel and I am so happy I did! You are such a good teacher and very informative. Thank you thank you. I can’t wait to make some of your recipes.
I have infused coconut oil with herbs for hair products, im going to try real butters now after this inspirational video. Thank you very much for your generosity.
Thank you so , so much for you unconditional sharing of your knowledge without the “Pomp” your channel is my TV as I enjoy watching what you do. May I ask for the spelling of your Tehebrew Bark as I have family members with fussy skin. Much regards Jenn U K
Happy Fridaaaayyyyyyyy ☺️ wonderful video and a wealth of information 🤗. Thank you for sharing 😻. The Hebrew bark. May you give the complete spelling of it. I was searching for it and couldn't find it. I would like to buy it and use it for my skin issues. Thank you. Have a great weekend 😁 peace 🕊️ love ❤️ and blessings 🙏🏾
I’ve infused oils though never thought of infusing butters, I’ve only recently found you, now I’ve subscribed, your a great teacher THANKS so much for sharing xx
Did you know olive oil is spoilt when stored in a clear bottle. For the best olive oil buy in dark glass or a tin then you will have more nourishment in the oil. That is why all extra virgin olive oil comes in dark glass. Love you information filled video's thanks hope you don't mind me giving you this information cheers
I love all your videos and I am learning so much. Thank you. I was wondering what other tea or bark you can use? It's so hard to find the bark in the UK.
Love your channel. Great instructions. I make an Ayurvedic herb infused hair butter but it melts I. The summer. I’m learning to make an emulsified butter version of it. Emulsified body butters come out “draggy” and slight sticky. No sure how to avoid that. I have not tried your recipe yet
Thank you for ALL the videos I have been watching. I am so thankful you are willing to share your knowledge. I am leaning so much listening to you Do you have a video of your favorite suppliers? If not, I’ll try health food store by my house. Thanks again ❤️❤️
I just made this. Wonderful video. I used milk thistle in place of the tareebo. Hoping it will be fine. Just to clarify, I dont need to refrigerate this do I? I think my family would have a fit with cartons of infused butters that's not edible🤣 I suppose I could get a small one. But would prefer not to😬 Sure hope you come back soon. I will just continue to re-watch the ones that are up.❤❤
can you please share the spelling of the bark. i am coming up with hebrew bark, but not much on that. would really like to research this please thank you for another vid.
Remember these are infused butters taking properties from herbs and infusing the butters coffee butter is made with coffee bean oil . I have not infused butters with coffee before but I don't see why it wouldn't work how ever I would add preservative at the end unless using immediately, hope this helps
Hello. I have a quick question . If for the recipe I need some amount of mango or shea butter, can I consider this infused butter as 100% butter that I need , or since it contains olive oil I would need to recalculate the recipe? Thank you.
I thought the inner bark was the best and not the outer bark. Some of the reviews I read about bark that was sale, were saying to use the inner bark. But maybe that was just for when your making a tea out of it?
Yes sorry I just watched the video and I did say it backwards Inner bark is what you want the outer bark is what you have to watch people are not trying to sell you , so make sure you are actually getting inner bark I have corrected this Thank You :)
@@BodyHavenSoaps Woot. Yaay. Then I bought the right stuff. Haha. Thanks for the clarification. Love your videos and your in depth instructions. I have learned a lot since watching your videos and I am saving lots of money making my own infused oils and butters.
I would not use this in a soap recipe because of the mix of butters and oils have different fatty acids and will alter your recipe and you will not have the right lye concentration You could however infuse herbs into one of your oils for your soap recipe like olive oil and use the infusion of herbs that way hope this helps
@@BodyHavenSoaps Thank you so very much I am enjoying your channel and I enjoy the way you provide instructions they are very easy to follow and informative

I noticed that too. It's what really pushed me deeper into infusing oils. It's easy and doesn't take much time.
You make some amazing things

Taheebo bark 😊
Hi !! Thank you so much for the lovely information. How long can we keep this butter and should we keep it in fridge as summer in India is very hot.
In warmer climates I would keep it in the fridge and it will keep for at least 1 year or more hope this helps
I wish I could smell it! 😅
Thank you, very clear, learning lots. . I have a question, do the herbs need to be dry or can I use freshly cut? Thank you again.
you need to use dried so you are not adding water to the recipe or it will spoil fast
@@BodyHavenSoaps thank you so very much.
WOW amazing video thanks can i make a coffee butter the same way?

@@BodyHavenSoaps yes thanks
A question for you please 🙏! After preparing the butters do you put in the fridge or leave it out on your shelves? Tha ks in advance for answering.
depends on how long you are looking to keep before using
Can you use a magical butter machine making this?
Sure I don’t see why not
How does this hold up in the summer with your hibiscus pomegranate recipe?
I Have not had an issue with it but do keep it in a cool place
How do you spell that bark because nothing is coming up
She spelled it out in a comment somewhere above….its Taheebo Bark. 👍🏻😁 I had to really search for it, too!
Hello. I have a quick question . If for the recipe I need some amount of mango or shea butter, can I consider this infused butter as 100% butter that I need , or since it contains olive oil I would need to recalculate the recipe? Thank you.
I wouldn't use this butter in making soap at all but I use it as a butter in most other products
Can we use powdered horsetail if we can’t get the herb? Same process? Thank you!
yes but you would have to strain it well the fine particles will make its shelf life a lot shorter if they are left in
@@BodyHavenSoaps thank you!
Thanks. Where do you buy your bulk butters from?
Voyager soaps or windy point soaps

How much horsetail do you add to your butter infusion please. You didn’t mention it on your video and I’m very interested to know
I would use 50 to 60 grams if only using horsetail
hope this helps
@@BodyHavenSoaps thank you so much. I appreciate your response
What was the name of the Hebrew bark you added
Taheebo bar also known as Pau D'arco bark
Where do you purchase hebrew bark?
She spelled it out in a comment above…it is Taheebo Bark. 👍🏻😁
can you write the second herb that you used after Hibiscus ?
Taheebo Bark :)
Could you add this to soap as well?

You could however infuse herbs into one of your oils for your soap recipe like olive oil and use the infusion of herbs that way

Can you use hibiscus powder?
You can infuse most things yes just make sure you filter out particles or you will lose shelf life
where do you buy the herbs? Do you buy small amounts?
I buy larger amounts and purchase for soap supple or health food store
Does adding the herbs change the shelf life of the butter
Hi when you are infusing your oils or butters you are staining out the actual plant its self and only nutrients and color are left behind
@@BodyHavenSoaps Thank you so very much I am enjoying your channel and I enjoy the way you provide instructions they are very easy to follow and informative
