7 Month Long Term Review: czcams.com/video/ubYRgXX72Oo/video.html
Hi, my size recinnebdation would be to go 1 to 1,5 sizes up from what You think Your size should be. They ere ridiculously small, but once You figured out the size to order or buy these shoes, You have a nice pair of lightweight runing shoes.
Have you ever tried plated 5k running shoes? You get a little more cushion, but the carbon plated gives you that quick snap. i think you would like the New Balance Rebel v3, or the the Adidas Takumi Sen 7/8. I can run soo much faster in those compared to something like these. I am actually considering these as driving shoes, as most driving shoes are too narrow for my feet. But hey to each, their own. Right? Thanks for the review.
So if I wanted to do a daily run anywhere from 1-5 miles a day you wouldn’t recommend these?
correct, they will hurt
Just got these, had the best run in years. I would echo every single point you made.
glad you liked them
Thanks for your review, hard to find shoes like this these days!
I just ordered a pair. What type of pain or trouble did you get when running in these past 1 kilometer?
I’ll mostly use it for interval run training but wanted to know others experience with them for longer runs 5-10 k.
the bottom of your feet may start hurting, but if you have well trained legs they should be fine for longer distances
Summing up: From your perspective as a walker, sprinter, and weightlifter, these XC racing flats rock. But you don't think XC racers would want these really light flats that you use for walking, sprinting, and weightlifting, as you would a training shoe. Please discuss.
What else could be better for sprinting than racing flats unless you were on a surface that benefits from track spikes? While they are probably not ideal for weightlifting, they are good enough while excelling in other areas.
will you find this shoe to be useless and objectively inferior to another shoe in a week?
These recommendation videos are very useful.
Glad you think so!
I’m an 11 and bought and 11, very tight. Should they be worn in for bought a size bigger? I don’t have wide feet
u should buy half a size up. i mentioned this
You did. I watched through it again and caught that. I ordered 1/2 size up and fit perfect. Love them
Hi. May i know this waffle 6 sizing is according to men sizing or women sizing?
men
@@Sharur1 Ok thank.
Means have to size down if buy for women right?
@@BlueSky-mj1ioi don't know if there is a women model
Would you recommend these for a 800-5k runner for a rotational shoe?
for 800 yes, 5k no
@@Sharur1 thanks not running the 5k this season right now anyways cause xc ended
I used to run and sprint in college a couple years ago, not much just once a week. But I really want to get back into it. Good review, it showed me that these are the probably the ones for me. I wanted a shoe that can do both, and I like these because they seem very responsive. I only run about 2 miles each time I run so now worries about it not being good for long distance.
Are those shoes better than TE Nova?
But are they better than the Variations?
yes
What are your thoughts on foot health (wide toebox, 0 drop etc.)? There’s a lot of big claims out there about it improving aspects of your body aside from only your feet (f.e. better balance when lifting weights). This group absolutely hates narrow running shoes that big companies, like Nike, produce so I was wondering if you are concerned about this 😅
i think you should try loosening your laces cross section before trying wider shoes
I work in a store that sells barefoot shoes and i have worn them for 2 years now, from toe shoes (five fingers) all the way to skinners. I enjoy them alot and to my perception it feels better than traditional shoes especially when lifting. But when i play badminton i wear the widest badminton shoes i could buy. So barefoot shoes are difficult when it comes to performance in any sport it will always be a handicap on your potential. But for more casual walking running and sports it feels amazing feels like you have just that much more control over how you use your body. I would end this by saying if you are curious about foot health and barefoot shoes, try them for yourself and come to your own conclusions. You can always combine the two different kinds of shoes and if you have tried both i am sure you will have a much better perspective on the bigger picture and what you need. Tip for if you actually want to try a barefoot shoe, pick one that feels the most comfortable to you the more minimalist models and details only matter when you have some experience walking and doing sports in these. Good luck!
Totally unbiased, the sound of this product is very good i dont understand why the harman curve has to be a must follow, definitely not the review tony stark would be looking for
Do u run competitively or for fun
i rarely run
It is nice what you say, but did you blind test?
not necessary
lol
Love your take on running shoes. XC/flats are my prefered as well. They help you build calf muscle and are form dependant. It will penalize you if you can't run above 180 strides per minute on mid/forefoot strike. Normal running shoes are so boring because of that. Anyone with half a fitness can run fast and long with normal shoes but isn't the case for traditional racing flats.
thanks :)
Good review but its missing the affiliate link in the description
why do you want an affiliate link? I'm not trying to sell the product to profit.
@@Sharur1 i don't trust reviewers who don't put affiliate links in description.
Crinacle wears Reeboks.
what's crinacle's 100m time
I personally use the nike react flyknit and for me is perfection in shoes
Or just the ultraboost, classic
nike react flyknit doesn't even have laces
@@Sharur1 The v1 haves but I just remove it and be happy, just must have to get the 0.5 size superior and I can run whatever I want
Vibram Fivefingers are shoes with most advanced biodynamic and posture (healthiest) construction - design. Nike=Airbuds, Vibram=lcd5.
toe shoes are shit
@@Sharur1 U R unexperienced.
bro review the vapormax
shit
Vibram 5 fingers.
what
@@Sharur1 Google it.
@@Sharur1 that was his nickname in college
Such a specific set of shoes that is relevant to a tiny portion of the audience lol. I do long distance so it's not applicable for me. I am such a slow sprinter it's sad lol.
what do you wear
@@cart9645 Sauconey Ride 15 in summer and Sauconey Excursion TR15 in winter. I never spend more than $50-70 on a pair of shoes because if you run long miles they are a consumable and brands like Asics and Sauconey can be had for extreme discounts for year old models. When your model has already showed staying power and been dialed in for 15 revisions then it's not critical to get the 16th especially if you're gonna wear it out in a few months. Some day I'd like to invest in a good racing shoe though.
Erm... No thanks. I will be sticking with my adidas adizero prime sp2.
Understandable
Running kills you marathoners all die early too much stress on the body
this isn't true lol
Look up masters athletics. You have old people who’ve ran their entire life still running sub 3 hour marathons.
@@Sharur1 You are born with a certain number of heart beats remaining. Once you use them up you die.
@@neandrewthalI guess all those babies that died with sids had their hearts beating over 9000 bpm
