    Karen, one of the things I love about this video is that it forced me to draw and I can tell you, for someone who hates drawing, tackling those Cosmos flowers is not as easy as it looks. But, I'm so glad I persevered because I got there in the end and had been avoiding this video because of the drawing. I realise that it is all about practicing and believeing you can do it so that is my new mantra. This is a great painting and you take us through it so brilliantly as usual. Thank you.

    Amazing painting Karen, it’s beautiful ! Your videos inspired me to try painting during lockdown and I did my first ever watercolour this weekend. One question though (hopefully not a stupid one) - do your techniques work just as well with watercolour pans instead of paint from a tube ?

    • @KarenRiceArt
      @KarenRiceArt  Před 4 lety +2

      Thank you Ryan, so glad you liked the tutorials especially during lockdown! You can use pans, I would spray them with water an hour before so that you can get as much paint off them as you can. Tubes are great because you can make thicker larger washes. Hope this helps. Happy painting :)

I've just painted the flowers last night, but this morning now it has dried, I can see that my dark greens are nowhere near dark enough. It's it ok to layer more paint on parts of the painting even though I've painted the flowers? Thank you x
